I own many brands of monocluars, Nikon, Leica & Zeiss to name a few. Build quality & performance are right up there with name brands. I am with the optics as I am a picky consumer when it come to image quality and color accuracy.
Outstanding quality monocular
I looked at specifications and reviews of a wide variety of monoculars before choosing the SV36 10x32 ED monocular. I have now been using it for a few months, and I am delighted with its quality and performance. It has an unusually wide field of view, and the image is sharp, bright and flat across the whole field. Overall it feels like a very solid and well-made product, and its weight means that image shake is much less of a problem than I expected. The close focus down to 2 metres also makes it an excellent tool for observing butterflies and other insects, and I have been impressed to find that the banded markings on the antennae of some butterflies are clearly visible. Overall I can thoroughly recommend this product.
