Description

Two nights, close to 6 hours on the Veil nebula complex for the "Veil Nebula Challenge". Widefield, lightweight travel setup around the SV545 refractor.

Background Introduction

On a road trip around Munich I had two clear nights to test my new travel setup. Early in July there not much time in the night when it gets dark, so the 3nm SV220 filter was perfect to make the best out of the time. The SV545 gives a good field of view for the whole nebula complex with the IMX571 sensor. The Juwei14 harmonix drive mount is perfect for this setup and tracked accurate over both nights.
