Description
On the left is the Horsehead nebula and Flame nebula. On the far right the long red nebulosity is a portion of Barnard`s loop. And the blue reflection nebula on the center right is M78 sometimes called Casper-the-friendly-Ghost (reflection) nebula.
The image was taken in my backyard in Yokohama (Bortle class 7 to eight) with a new astrograph lens from SVBony (SV535). At F2.8, it is exceptionally fast and appears to provide awesome quality across this field of view (6deg.6min x 3deg.3min of sky). The image is from 150 minutes of integrated data taken with the Optolong L-Extreme filter and SV585MC Air color camera.
