Description

ack out under the stars tonight to revisit the Veil Nebula this time with the little pocket rocket, the SV535. • Camera: SC571CC • Scope: SV535 • SV220: 72 frames 300s (Offset 50 / Gain 100) • Mount: Sky-Watcher EQ-AL55i • Guide Camera: SV905C • Guide Scope: SV165 (30mm) Captured using StellaVita, stacked with Siril and edited with Photoshop

Background Introduction

While the SV555 captures incredible detail, I keep coming back to this wider field. Seeing the Veil surrounded by the faint Hα emission across Cygnus gives the image a sense of scale that I really love.
