WARRANTY IN GENERAL

SVBONY TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD (“Svbony”) offers a limited warranty for Svbony astronomical products, including but not limited to astronomical bundles/kits, astronomical OTAs, astronomical cameras, and accessories. The product must be purchased originally from Svbony or an authorized Svbony dealer and must be free from defects in design, assembly, material, or workmanship. Svbony reserves the right to update, amend, and/or revise the terms of this warranty.

The warranty period begins on the date indicated on the user's original purchase of the product or on the seller's sales receipt; the warranty is valid only in the country where the item was purchased, provided that the product has been sold by Svbony in that country.

Warranty Period

WHAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY

• Damage caused by acts of God, war, vandalism, theft, normal wear and tear, depletion, obsolescence, abnormal care or use, abuse, or negligence.
• Damage to electronic equipment or the product resulting from a transient voltage surge, improper power supply, or unprotected wires or lines.
• Restoration of lost data, firmware, or reinstallation of software.
• Damage caused by modification, alteration, disassembly, or unauthorized repair of the Svbony product or its components.
• Damage caused by accidents, fire, or natural disasters such as floods, erosion, earthquakes, wind, or direct lightning.
• Damage caused by lack of grounding or improper electrical connection.
• Damage caused by low-voltage disturbance (e.g., brownouts or sags).
• Repair or replacement of the product or damaged equipment that is covered under another manufacturer’s warranty, seller’s extended warranty, or insurance policy.
• Products purchased from unauthorized dealers or sellers.
• Products with removed, altered, or illegible serial numbers, warranty seals, or labels.
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect product operation.
• Damage due to improper installation, use with incompatible accessories, third-party parts, or failure to follow product instructions.
• Svbony determines that the product was not used under normal operating conditions or in accordance with any manufacturer’s instructions for the product.

Svbony shall in no way be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Svbony product. Svbony shall not be held liable for losses due to loss of software, data, cost of substitute equipment, facilities, or services, loss of profits, loss of revenue, or claims of third parties, including customers and insurance companies.

MAKING A CLAIM UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY

• If all conditions to qualify for coverage are satisfied, contact Svbony customer service at [email protected] or the phone number listed on Svbony’s official website within 15 days of discovering the defect to obtain return instructions. Please have your order number, product serial number, receipt, photographs or video of the defect, and any other relevant documentation ready when contacting Svbony customer service.
• Mark the return instructions on the returned package and return the product to Svbony along with a copy of your sales/purchase receipt.
• Svbony reserves the right to review the returned product, the reported defect, and the site where the issue occurred. All costs of shipping the product to Svbony for inspection shall be borne solely by the purchaser unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• If you are authorized by Svbony to have the product repaired, the repair must be performed at a service center authorized by Svbony or the product’s manufacturer. Svbony reserves the right to contact the service center directly to discuss damage and repair costs. Svbony may, at its discretion, issue payment to you in reimbursement for the fair market value of the product. If you receive reimbursement for the fair market value, Svbony reserves the right to require you to transfer the title and deliver the damaged product to Svbony.

This CEW becomes effective immediately and supersedes and cancels all previous CEWs.
