Well built. Not a $500 scope but magnifies the same. Perfect close zoom at 100 yards. Shooting 17 HMR and the holes the size of a BBQ. So you need full zoom.So glad I purchased this!
I'm pretty sure that for the price it's the best option to buy. Svbony offers value for money that can hardly be seen in other similar products. My only drawbacks are really the tripod it has, which is basically useless. Do not hesitate for a moment to place the telescope on a more suitable camera tripod and the observation has become much more comfortable. And my other problem is with the focuser, it's too sensitive, which makes wanting to focus properly a rather frustrating process.I know that this telescope is not made for celestial observation, however with the right tripod I have been able to see Venus, Jupiter, the Moon and Mars. The views are good, but as I said before, you can notice the chromatic aberration, which is minimized when properly focused.
At first I was concerned about the sharpness and the zoom. When I brought it to the field it was plenty crisp to see the finer details of the “plumage”. We saw birds at 100yds, 200yds, 300 and 450yrds.Missing for me is the ability to adjust the eyepiece for my correction as well as the fine tuning focus option. Similar have both and that amount of control would be great but in the end, this worked well as the distances. The tripod is fine but not commercial photog grade. The iPhone holder take a bit of fumbling to get to work but with more patience - could be ok.Have fun.
Works just like it should. Better quality than I expected.
Review from my 12yo son: This is my first ever spotting scope. It's lightweight and is easy to use, with or without the tripod. It worked well with identifying a few of my new "life birds", such as the Bullock's Oriole. The phone adapter is good, and you can adjust it to fit your phone in, it just took me a bit. Though, like all scopes, binocs, those things, when you're at 75 yards, it can be hard to focus.Probably the best thing about this is that you don't have to spend a lot. It's a great scope that is more affordable for people who are new to birding, hunting, etc. Would recommendIt comes with lens wipes, tripod, phone adapter, and the spotting scope.
I haven’t used it on the rifle range yet, but looks and feels like good quality. Viewing through it looks like the lenses are good with no apparent distortion. I give it a thumbs up 👍 especially for the cost.
The camera mount that came with it was very finicky and a hassle to deal with. Customer service reached out to me and offered multiple solutions to my issue. I wanted to use the spotting scope so I accepted a new phone mount. It is easy and fast to use and looks like it will work just fine. Top notch customer service and now thrilled to use the scope again.
Very good product to use on a gun. Range to see if you are accurate
This Svbony scope has the right weight for me for outdoors exploring, viewing wildlife, and still see what you want to see. I like the scope, it works well. Give it a solid 4. Have not really evaluated the carrying bag to any extent. The scope has a manual included, but poorly done in my opinion. But few products include decent manuals period these days.
I find it faster to just use the tripod and my hands in holding my mobile device for pictures than the phone holder. I don't have experience with other mobile holders so can't say that another would be easier, faster or better.I have a professional large tripod and this little one does it's job for a quick pull out latch on and use. I know others commented negative about the metal quality yet does what is needed so can't complain.Honestly for how close I get to see the moon it really does look as good as a good sized telescope I once had. Add on camera zoom you can see it even better detail. Looks better in the scope than I feel the pictures were able to get.
Excelente equipo, muy buen material y es exactamente como lo describen, su imagen y alcance son realmente excepcionales, lo recomiendo ampliamente.!
So much better than using my binoculars for sighting in and spotting my shots. I’ve used it 2 weekends in row . Light mist on one of the days . Seems to be water tight, the optics are plenty clear for my needs. The price is right and it definitely does what I need it to do. It comes with an adaptor you can set up your phone to look through the scope. I think it’s a great deal !
Just recently got into shooting. I go to a public range so I needed a way to see my shot groups without interrupting eveyone to walk downrange every 5 minutes. Cabelas doesnt sell one of these for less than $300. When I saw this spotting scope, I was skeptical it would be any good but decided to roll the dice. What an absolutely awesome purchase! Provides enough magnification to clearly see shot groups and make adjustements at 200 yards, which is all I will be needing for the forseeable future. The tripod works great, assembly is very very easy, light and portable, nothing but good things to say about this.
I just got this a few hours ago so not much to say yet. First impressions: It's rubber coated (nice), objective lens is tinted green for more light absorption. The rubber on the eye piece can be folded down to accommodate users with glasses. Haven't taken it to the range yet so I can't say how good, bright and consistent the magnification is. For now, it's a 5 star.
It is a high-powered optical instrument designed for terrestrial and astronomical viewing.
This is a good little scope for beginners or people on a budget. Its very lightweight to carry, and the finish is as described. The basic tripod included is functional but would be better if replaced sooner rather than later and the included cellphone mount is finicky to get situated but does the job.
for the price this is about as good as you can get. used for spooting from 25 yds, to steel impacts at 200 yds. I would suggest for use under 200 yds
I have been wanting a spotting scope for zeroing rifle to 100y. I rarely do this and did not want to spend a lot of money on something I would barely use. I was at the range this past Saturday and could clearly see 5.56 holes in the paper at 100y. Could probably see farther if needed. The scope is very light, in fact when I picked up the box I thought it was empty. I did not use the phone clip. I did not use the provided tripod because I have my own that I can use while standing up. Only complaint is that the cap for the eyepiece is so loose.
Easy set up completed in just a few minutes. Started immediately taking great photos of our feeder wildlife from our patio bar. I also look forward to taking this along with us on vacations.
Until recently, all I know is binocular and telescope. Never thought there is a mid-product: spotting scope. This product is my first trial and I am stunned by the imagine quality. It is great. I have a Canon 12x36 IS binocular. Compared to it, this one has much better resolution and show much better details. Also, the price is very attractive compared to peers. After online review, I further confirm this brand is among the best budget spotting scope. The only other similar brand is Athlon. Just search the model and see the comparison videos.OK, why I still return it if it is so great. Well, it is not that it doesn't do a good job, but because I can't find a scenario that I will carry it around. Unfortunatley, I am not a hunter or bird watcher. For nature touring, I think binocular still gives better field of view (FOV) and relatively volume friendly. This one (and all its kind) requires a small tripod or put against something like a tree. It is bulky and long to a normal backpack. The only scenario I probably end of using is to look at the moon at night in my backyard. But for that purpose, I have a telescope already. Well I very much like it, I know it would sit and catch dust if I keep it.End of my story. If you need such magnification and don't mind to use tripod and bulky size, go ahead. This brand is the best of its kind. I didn't say that lightly considering the numerous times I spent on online review searching.
