Description
Finally got a break in the weather to experiment with my new MK127. Thought I would share since there's not a whole lot out there on this scope yet. The last shot of Tycho and Clavius is through the SV137 2X Barlow.
Seeing wasn't great, but I'm pleased with the results considering it's my first time with this scope, and with FireCapture, Autostakkert, and WaveSharp.
The MK127 was pretty well collimated out of the box. Just a tiny bit off center. I adjusted it but I'm not sure I made it better. Centered now but maybe slightly pinched. I'll have to go back and make a more methodical attempt.
Just received an SV183 IR Pass filter in the mail as well. I'm excited to compare what I can get using that next time.
