Description
(The Lagoon, Trifid and Chinese Dragon) Finally managed to get back under the stars with the new camera after being unwell for a while, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better night to return. Clear skies from start to finish and a straight one-night capture session gave me just under 5.5 hours of integration on the Lagoon and Trifid region. This was also first proper light with the new SC571, paired with the SV555, and I’m seriously impressed with what this sensor can do. The amount of dust, colour and detail it pulled out in a single night was incredible, especially across the wider Sagittarius star fields.
