I am a fan of monoculars having a selection at varying magnifications, objective sizes, weights and price points to accompany me on my travels, hikes and watching sports and nature. I was attracted to this Svbony as it has a very useable hand held zoom range of 8 to 16 power in combination with a 42mm objective and big eyepiece lens which all bode well for a bright image. It has surpassed me expectations and become my go to leisure companion to supplement my Hawke Frontier ED 8x32 binocs giving a good boost in power with light weight but good clarity either hand held or for best quality on an 8 inch extendable pole with a mini tripod foot placed on a hide shelf etc. Terrific build quality and performance for a truly bargain price!

1. SV302 8-16x42mm zoom monocular, zoom was perfect for adjusting the size of the image. Big as possible to focus, and then smaller to avoid exceeding the size of the image frame, you could easily view the targets you are interested in for you
2. 19.1-25.1mm long eye relief, give you more comfortable view feelings
3. Small sized body with a DV hand strip, you can carry it everywhere with only one hand
4. Rail type bracket base with standard UNC1/4-20 interface, suitable for almost all the tripod
