Background Introduction

This is the first time Ive ever imaged this target and indeed without the svbony sv220 SII-OIII filter all i could see was the star EZ Canis Majoris The Dolphin Head Nebula (SH2-308) is a bubble like nebula surrounding the bright Wolf-Rayet star EZ Canis Majoris. Taken from my bortle 5-6 backyard March 2026. 4hrs of 180sec exposures SVbony sv550 (80mm) with field flattener SV220 7nm SII-OIII filter SV226 Filter Holder ZWO533mc pro ZWO EAF ZWO ASI air plus ZWO AM5 Processed in PixInsight & PhotoShop
