Description
IC1396 shot from my Bortle 5 backyard in Armbrust, PA, USA. About 5 hours of integration total - 4.5 hrs. DNB and 1/2 hour RGB for the stars. (My secret cheat- I love the diffraction spikes on bright stars but shoot a refractor so I have to use a 3D printed mask on the RGB stars)
Background Introduction
I have been doing night landscape photography for about a year and a half and never wanted to go down the slippery slope of astrophotography. I found a SV503 70ED (the original doublet) at a great price on FB Marketplace in November and have been loving Deep Sky Object photography since!
