Description
For our latest project, we imaged the famous Horsehead Nebula region IC434 using three different setups. We used the SVBONY SV555 telescope in combination with the ToupTek ATR585M, SVBony SV705c (cooled), and ZWO ASI585MC cameras.
... We used a number of specialized narrowband filters, including:
-SVBONY SV220 7nm (SII & OIII)
-SVBONY SV220 7nm (Hα & OIII)
-SVBONY UVIR Cut
-ToupTek H-alpha 6.5nm
-ToupTek OIII 6.5nm
-ToupTek SII 7nm
-ToupTek Luminance
-RGB: 10.5h
-Hα: 8h
-SII: 9.5h
-OIII: 13.5h
-Luminance: 10.5h
This results in a total exposure time of 52 hours—a true marathon project!
