Background Introduction

I'm an astrophotographer based in Lower Saxony, Germany, imaging from a Bortle 4 site. My setup consists of an SV405CC cooled color OSC camera on an SV550 80ED refractor with the SV193 0.8× focal reducer, mounted on an EXOS-2 with OnStep GoTo. Guiding is handled by PHD2 with an SV165/SV305C Pro, focusing via Gemini autofocuser, and the whole rig is controlled remotely through a Raspberry Pi 5 running KStars/Ekos.
