Background Introduction

About six months ago, I took up astrophotography as a hobby. Fascinated by the astrophotographs I found online, I began to explore the subject. Using my DSLR and a simple tripod, I tried to photograph the Orion Nebula and the Andromeda Galaxy and was amazed by the results. I wanted to discover the many different objects that space hides from us for myself. After doing a lot of research, I finally bought my first tracking telescope at the end of last year. I am excited to see what the future holds and am happy to now be part of the astrophotography community.
