Description

The image was framed and centred on SNR G074.0‑08.5 to capture the full extent of the supernova remnant within a single field. A total of 50 light frames were taken at 300 seconds each, with camera orientation and field alignment handled through NINA. All sub‑frames were calibrated and stacked in Siril, producing the integrated dataset used for further processing.

Background Introduction

This Veil Nebula image was taken with the SVBONY SV545 and Canon 850D, guided by the SV106 and SV905C on a Starwatcher GTi mount. NINA managed the capture process, and the SV241 Pro provided reliable power. The setup delivered accurate tracking and stable performance, enabling a detailed capture of the nebula’s intricate structure.
