SVBONY SV131 Plossl Eyepiece 32mm 1.25inch 48 Degrees for Telescope

Nice 32mm eyepiece Started recently with astronomy and got the suggestion to buy a 32mm for my setup (Celestron C5). Budget-conscious I opted for this Svbony EP. It's good quality and gives brilliant, crisp views. Well pleased with it.

SVBONY SV131 Plossl Eyepiece 32mm 1.25inch 48 Degrees for Telescope

Another great Svbony product I was looking for a wide field eyepiece for my 127mm telescope. Having good experiences with Svbony eyepieces in the past, this one seemed to tick all the boxes. Ordering was easy and the item arrived promptly and in fine shape. I'm very impressed with the build and optical quality of this eyepiece, first light was tonight, and the views were great! In my scope, it gives 25X with a 2 degree field of view, just right for star clusters like the Pleaides and Beehive (apparent FOV is 52 degrees, much better than any other 40mm plossl I've ever seen). Star images are sharp almost to the very edge of the field. All this for 50 bucks!

SVBONY SV131 Plossl Eyepiece 32mm 1.25inch 48 Degrees for Telescope

Cheap and pretty good This was an emergency buy because I needed an eyepiece to go with a scope I was giving away. I needed something cheap that would arrive fast and not be terrible. This exceeded my expectations; I only got to use it one night but the views looked good. I’ll consider this brand again for sure.

SVBONY SV131 Plossl Eyepiece 32mm 1.25inch 48 Degrees for Telescope

Excellent value and well made Used with a SvBONY eyepiece adapter to convert a 400mm telephoto lens into a 12.5 x 70 telescope. This is ideal for the visual observation of asterisms, open clusters and comets and it can also be used as a finderscope to locate objects before replacing the eyepiece/adapter with the camera. The field of view is bright and crisp over at least 90% of the field with virtually no stray light, distortion or other obvious aberrations. The eyepiece is solidly made with a quality feel. It is heavier than the 40mm Plossl and produces almost the same true field of view as a result of its increased apparent field of view (46 degrees compared to 40 degrees for the 40mm eyepiece).

SVBONY SV131 Plossl Eyepiece 32mm 1.25inch 48 Degrees for Telescope

Good! Works well with my 127eq, totally worth the price. My area has got some light pollution, so I am thinking about getting a filter to enhance this eyepiece.

SVBONY SV131 Plossl Eyepiece 32mm 1.25inch 48 Degrees for Telescope

SVBONY SV131 Plossl Eyepiece 32mm 1.25inch 48 Degrees for Telescope

Tolle Leistung, SVBONY!!!

Excellent Quality Eyepiece for the Money ! I bought this one for an SV501p scope, and it is much crisper than the eyepiece (20mm) that comes with it. Very satisfied !

SVBONY SV131 Plossl Eyepiece 32mm 1.25inch 48 Degrees for Telescope

Underrated: 32mm PlosslUnderrated: 32mm Plossl In my opinion, 32mm is probably a very underrated eyepiece magnification. The eye relief is comfortable and and field of view is very nice, the objects appear bright and sharp. This is easily similar or better quality than the stock eyepieces that come provided with most telescopes while remaining cost effective. The focal length of your telescope will make a difference but I am using an 8" SCT with 2000mm focal length. 2000 divided by 32 = 62.5x magnification, this still provides quite a bit of magnification in my case. Plus, this allows me to easily fit the entire moon in the field of view with room to spare. The stock 26mm plossl that came with the scope was difficult to fit the entire moon. So, especially if you have a scope with a longer focal length, this is a good eyepiece to keep around.

SVBONY SV131 Plossl Eyepiece 32mm 1.25inch 48 Degrees for Telescope

Very nice with a 102mm F/5 refractor!Very nice with a 102mm F/5 refractor! I've never owned a 32mm eyepiece. Got this one on sale for $24 and I decided to buy it on a whim just to see what I was missing out on. A lovely eyepiece to any beginner's collection. I prefer this more over than the 25mm. Low magnification, no "kidney beaning" and nice eye relief to where I can get up close and still see an entire field of view without issues. My test object was the Pleiades (M45) on 3/29/26. Moon was an 85% Waxing Gibbous near the head of Gemini, but the star cluster was easily observed. "Like diamonds on velvet.." as I recalled Ed's saying, it was the first words I said when eyeing that beautiful cluster of stars with this eyepiece. Sharp, pinpoints of light on a moderately lit up night sky. Pairing this with my 102mm F/5 refractor was the ultimate 1.25" rich field grab and go setup! Stars upon stars and never needed to touch the focuser once! This eyepiece soaked up little dots like a sponge! Heading over to the moon was a treat. Beautiful craters and sharp features. Minimal aberrations at the edge of the eyepiece, nearly a flat field of view. I'm hoping to pair this with a medium power eyepiece (either the 17mm or 12mm) for those up close views of the moon and other deep sky objects on a whim now that galaxy season is approaching! My setup as shown is the Celestron Wide View (Model #52270) paired with a Svbony SV225 AZ mount on an Orion Paragon XHD Tripod — the diagonal is the Svbony SV221! 5 stars across the board!

SVBONY SV131 Plossl Eyepiece 32mm 1.25inch 48 Degrees for Telescope

Impressive! I don't know what factory actually makes these lenses, but it is definitely on par with some of the well known brands of astronomy equipment. I get very clear and detailed views without any distortions or aberrations. Eye relief is pretty long, so it should work well if you wear glasses. This is a fantastic eyepiece, especially for the price!

A specialty product, well made! Well made item. This is a specialty item, for connecting 48mm telescope threads to the M42 camera standard. Good item, works perfectly.
