SVBONY SV28 25-75x70 Zoom Spotting Scope with Tripod for Bird Watching

Really not bad There is no eye relief and the phone mount is a little difficult to use because you have to put in so much adjustment. The product itself is t bad. It zooms fine but it’s difficult to stay focused on your target at any magnification. The color quality was alright but could’ve been better. The clarity was tough to get to and achieve. The protective cups come off almost too easily. Other than that it’s a great product for the money. It’s probably what you’d get out of a 200 dollar spotting scope. I am happy overall.

Spektiv ok aber Stativ -die Schraube- passt nicht Wie schon andere vor mir festgestellt haben: das Stativ (genauer: die Schraube) passt nicht. Schraube zu lang. Gott sei Dank habe ich ein vernünftiges Kamerastativ. Das es als Spektiv mit Stativ verkauft wird - und das Stativ ein wesentlicher Teil für "gute Sicht" ist, 2 Punkte Abzug. Das Spektiv ist ok für mich als Amateur und Gelegenheitsbeobachter. Kaum sichtbare Ränder (wie auch immer das in der Fachsprache heissen mag). Das heisst: das, was ich sehen will, sehe ich klar. Was mir auch wichtig war: im Gegensatz zum Monokular ist das abgewinkelte Okular viel bequemer. Auch für Schnappschüsse mit dem Handy. Handykamera und Okular zur Deckung zu bringen ist bei diesen Handyhalterungen fast immer schwierig, aber machbar.

Très bon rapport qualité-prix Bonne longue vue pour amateur de la nature et astronomie pour débutant. Toutefois le grossissement est trop fort, même déjà à 25 fois il est difficile de cibler un objet en déplacement au loin. Pour du statique c'est très bien. Autrement je préfère une bonne paire de jumelles. La caméra est sympa mais encore une fois elle relève un peu du gadget. Le trépied est stable mais pas très utile car trop bas. Malgré ces commentaires je recommande ce produit pour son rapport qualité prix.

Good for shooting scope for long shot target practiceGood for shooting scope for long shot target practice This is a nice scope if you don’t need to pan to something. I guess as a spotting scope that’s the point. I have never used a spotting scope and my son needed one for his rifle targets and this works great. I was hoping to use it for birds but in reality it would have to be settled onto a single bird feeder or tree. So instead we are using it now for target practice for long rifle shots. Good for that. The stand is pretty cheap but if you are sitting it on a spotting table you are fine. You can connect it to a standard bipod or tripod, which is what I finally did. Large set up so don’t plan to take hunting, but good for taking to the range.

Off-Axis Guider OAG SV238 | Svbony

Needs to change the design. Really nice and excelente product but, will be nice if svbony give us better info about guides that works with this OAG. I had 3 guides and none works. Guide holder needs to be at least 5 mm shorter to be available to guide go lower.

Filter Drawer for OAG | SVBONY SV226P

Required for the SV238 Off Axis Guider Its nicely made but I didn't plan to buy it; it was required because this item or a filter wheel is needed to attach the camera to the O.A.G. So a £50 add-on which is essential. Bit unhappy about that.

SVBONY SV215 1.25" 3-8mm Clickstop Zoom Eyepiece for Planet View

It's ok, but the SV191 is better in my opinion. I also have the SVBONY SV191. This SV215 is greater zoom at the expense of an incredibly small field of view. Which makes it quite a bit more effort to locate, focus and track. The zoom adjustment sort of clicks in place and I prefer the smooth operation on the SV191. I'd say if you don't have the SV191, get it first. It's a great zoom eyepiece and really rewarding to use. Not that the SV215 is all that bad. But I couldn't live without the SV191 and I could take or leave this SV215.

focal reducer great little focal reducer. a must have if you plan to take pictures with your scope. Don't forget to get a camera adapter for your camera. the focal reducer has 48mm threads not the standard 42mm, so make sure your order the correct camera adapter.

Svbony SV181 1.25'' Rack Pinion Newtonian Reflector Focuser

Great quality, but...Great quality, but... For the price it's built pretty decent, however I did have to modify my Orion 4.5" starblast in order for it to fit properly. Reading other reviews on this product, I found out that it is possible to fit it on to my smaller scope. Though the radius of the base of the focuser mount is meant really for a 6" telescope, and the inner tube length and radius is larger than whats meant for the scope. I was able to shave the radius of the hole for the inner tube on the telescope with a rat tail file, drilled 4 new holes for the bolts, and placed a rubber shim in between the scope and the new focuser. colimation to finish I am a fan of the all metal, and there's virtually no wobble on this focuser so I can definitely recommend it. However the draw tube is way too long and can't get proper focus on my 4.5"

Svbony SV181 1.25'' Rack Pinion Newtonian Reflector Focuser

This focuser had a lot of travel for Newtonian scope.This focuser had a lot of travel for Newtonian scope. Like all metal hardened steel construction. Like oversize drawtube. Like silver steel knobs. Like brass eyepiece locking system and screw. I will use cutting wheel to reduce tube length. Radius of base may need adapter for other tube sizes. Knob shaft reports confirm wobbly spring tension, but maybe able to fix. Suggest the manufacturer use flat base with rectangular edges for universal fit. Overall, for price and in view of it's hefty feel. This focuser will outlast any plastic type currently found on commercial scopes. Ok, if you look at the pictures this is the way the springs need to be to do their job. If the springs are bent down flush, the knob shaft will be loose. At first I thought Svbony was Rusky, but it's Chinese, and the little gal who works 18 hours a day, just didn't understand the mechanism involved. Hope this helps.

Svbony SV181 1.25'' Rack Pinion Newtonian Reflector Focuser

Room for improvement... Overall well made on the outer/inner tubes, lens holding compression ring and mounting plate to the telescope, but let down by the flimsy/soft internal brass sheet plates holding the focus adjustment shaft and pinion cog. This distorts too easily allowing the rack & pinon to become sloppy, making fine focusing difficult. I had to replace these and the surrounding cover with a 3d printed block that can be adjusted to hold the shaft and the pinion to the rack at the correct pressure.

Svbony SV181 1.25'' Rack Pinion Newtonian Reflector Focuser

Needed work to use... The focuser arrived quickly, I knew I was going to have to modify the reflector tube to fit this but there was more work than I expected (more later), the focuser worm gear was loose and sloppy (more later) but aside from that the unit is nicely constructed and looks nice. So - this was going on a 4" reflector to replace the focuser a former owner had bodged.. Removed the old focuser, offered up this one and the hole in the tube was smaller and the new focuser wouldn't fit... I removed both mirrors from the tube, dremmelled the hole 4mm diameter larger, drilled the new mount holes, made up some spacers so the radius matched, fitted the focuser and refitted the mirrors. columated the scope and took it outside to test out. The eyepiece fitted easily (and snugly), there was no play in the eyepiece / focuser tube / focuser mount etc but the focusing mechanism had a considerable amount of play - so every time you changed focusing direction there was maybe 1/12 of a rotation before it did anything. But once focussed it was ok. So back in the house, pulled the focuser mechanism apart. the worm gears are held together by two small brass plates - which somehow had been bent which allowed the adjustor gears to float rather than meshing correctly. I straightened them, put them back in, re-assembled the unit and most of the play had been removed. There is still some play but it's a lot easier to use now.

Correct pour le prix Optiquement pas mal. Le bouton d'alumage de l'éclairage, il ne tien à moitier pas. J'ai du joué avec les contacts de la pile pour faire fonctionner l'éclairage. Donc voilà, la qualité n'est pas top mais pour le prix, il n'y a pas mieux autre part.
