Camera side thread is male; filter mounts thread is female; The filter drawer comes with the M42-M48 adapter to resolve the thread compatibility issue. The interface can help you use the adapter to connect cameras of different specifications.

Everything is very solid and screws together very easily, and I like that it came with an extra drawer and a 2"-1.25" adapter. Sometimes I forget which way the drawer goes and try to put it in backwards which of course doesn't work, but that's about my only complaint and that's more user error than their fault lol.
I was very surprised with the high quality of the filter drawer. It came with everything that I needed to add into my imaging train and I can use 1.25 or 2 inch filters. What really surprised me was how fast the delivery was coming from China. Normally I don't expect to see a package from China for a few weeks, but they delivered it in six days ! Well done Svbony ! It was the right item at the right price and shipping was super fast.... I'm a very happy customer !
I 'm quite happy with it. It's versatile, i.e. one can rapidly switch between filters, be it 2" or 1.25" ones, even in the dark. It closes tight due to the magnetic locking system, so no light leaks to see. I wished it would have been sold wih more than only two filter holders per unit, or to be able to buy them separately. Yet, as it is, excellent for the price!
