SVBONY SV224 Universal Dovetail Base for Finder Scope Telescope Mount

SV224

perfect to add a finder to your telescope These are just what you need to add a finder to your telescope. If the finder already has the foot to fit the shoe, great, you have an extra foot. If you're adapting an air gun sight or other sight, then you can attach it to the foot without drilling - it has a nice slot that adapts to many layouts. This is well-made, especially for the price.

Astro Power Controller SV241 Pro | Svbony

SV241 Pro

Product Review

I managed to barely get 3 hours of clear skies since I got it around end of October, but I finally managed to test it and it worked pretty well. I've used both PWM outputs, one to warm up my secondary mirror and the automated one to warm up the guide scope (in conjunction with the temperature probe). I've used the adjustable output to power up a primary mirror cooling fan and that also worked very well. There's very little difference between software controlled voltage and measured voltage (200mV at most), so that regulated output is pretty precise. Ambient temperature and humidity were also spot-on. I had absolutely no issue with USB connection, no dropouts, even better than my previous USB hub. The switches stayed on. There is very little power loss in the switches and the voltage doesn't seem to drop when higher loads are applied (compared to wiring the loads straight to the battery). I'll give it a 4/5 only because the soldering job is very poor.... they have used either lead-free solder, or a very high temperature solder and the components have too little solder on them... I'm afraid that, in time, some leads will become detached from the board, but that's a problem for that time. Otherwise, I'm very impressed with this product, especially when comparing it to the previous "dumb" powerbox and when comparing the price with other products available (like the PegasusAstro powerbox). Sure, the quality is not the same and it is lacking some extra features, but it does most of what any astronomer will need it to do.

Svbony SX31 Digital Infrared Binoculars 4K Infrared Green Goggles

SX31

Product Review

This product is useful for observing nocturnal animals in total darkness. It is a CMOS camera equipped with a digital zoom connected to an infrared light. Simple and effective. Following a software issue with the device, the SVbony team was very responsive and efficient in finding a solution. New firmware was sent to me quickly and the problem was completely resolved. So thank you to the SVBony team for their responsiveness.

ED Roof Prism Binoculars SV202 Upgraded | Svbony

SV202 Upgraded

Product Review

This is a very good option for a not expensive binocular with high quality. I use for bird watching and 8x32 is a convenient size and have the right weight. It can be used with glasses or without, always looks ok. I ordered a second one, for my son, but due to New Year season, I guess, it is taking a very long time to arrive. So consider ordering in another period, the first one took less than 15 days, this one is more than a month waiting.

Svbony SV222 1.25" 90° Erect Prism Diagonal AR Coating Metal Mount

SV222

Product Review

Hello, I have received the angled eyepiece: it is very well constructed and the images, at least at low and medium magnifications, are bright and of very good quality. However, with long focal length, wide field eyepieces (for example, in my case, a 24 mm 68°), there is some vignetting, with darkened image edges. It is therefore best used with eyepieces that are not too wide in the case of low magnification eyepieces. Kind regards, Jean-Luc Molle

SVBONY SV188P 99% Reflectivity 90-Degree Dielectric Mirror Diagonal

SV188P

Product Review

The SV188P is a beautiful bright 90* dielectric diagonal. It really improved my DSO viewing with my Gskyer 90600 and AT80ED. I highly recommend this diagonal for upgrading clarity and fine focus on difficult objects. Svbony quality has improved greatly, thank-you Svbony.

SV165 30mm F4 Mini Guide Scope for Astrophotography

SV165

Product Review

A very good Guide Scope, indeed I have 3 of them. It works perfect and it does not have any main issues to track. I gave 4 stars because there are few things that can be improved: - The weight can be improved, if they remove unused things like the red look and replace it with some screw, and improve weight on the tube and to dove tail it would be perfect. I tunned in one of mine and it went 150grams that is a nice to have on some setups. - The lock is not the best solution, anyone with some experience notice that when we lock the focus change, it could be replaced with a vertical screw that locks in a different way to avoid this issue. Indeed I removed the red lock. - It lacks a hood, The main lens holder could be improved to be smaller and lightweight, and provide a 30mm plastic lens hood to attach to improve the contrast. - The rings could have 3 screws and be 1cm bigger in diameter to allow lens collimation.

APO Astro Camera Lense | SVBONY SV535

SV535

Product Review

The lens is very good to excellent, there a few things to improve : - The hood is too short , could be awesome if the hood provide a thread to screw another longer hood , or some solution to that - The back focus is short, we can't add a drawer in the middle, so it would be nice to have a dedicated drawer for 1.25'' filters, or maybe provide an internal adapter to the extender to screw a filter inside. I know that we can use filters on the front side, but this is a f 2.8 lens, and ultra fast narrowband filters are very expensive, so many users only have 1.25'' filters. - The ring has screws to put a vixen mount to hold a guidescope, but the most of the vixen mounts are very large, and that causes some interferences with the camera. It is too clase to the mount. - To unscrew the front cap we need to remove the hood. The hood could have an screw on the top so the cap could go there. - The vixen dove tail is not perfect, I used a better vixen bar that allowed me to attach the bar in different position. The original one could be good for photo cameras, but for astro photo is better to mont the lens and camera at the center of gravity. - The bag could be bigger to hold the lens with the vixen bar mounted. Other than those details, the lens seems to be solid and the glass works perfect. Very happy with this lens.

SV405CC Cooled Color OSC Camera for Deep Space Astrophotography IMX294

SV405CC

Product Review

The deep space Astrophotography camera has really turned my craft around. So much better than using a dslr on a dedicated rig. The unit that I have has very little amp glow and any other vignetting or artifacts can be removed through calibration frames. It cools quickly I produces some very impressive images. I would highly recommend this or the square sized sensor of the SV605. Plays nicely with Nina as well. I don't think you could get a better cooled sensor camera than this one at this price. It's a very good value for your money.

Product Review

The telescope is well-built with good appearance. Lense quality is value for money. Would recommend to any first time buyer for a start. Only issue is with the shipment tracking. It's does not show the shipment status once shipped. Need to improve on this area. Other than that, no complains.

Astro Power Controller SV241 Pro | Svbony

SV241 Pro

Product Review

The SV241 Pro has turned out to be one of the most useful pieces of kit in my setup. The biggest advantage is the Always‑On output, which lets my mini‑PC power up automatically when the controller itself is switched on. This is a genuinely important feature — without it, I’d need a separate power supply just to boot the mini‑PC, which defeats the point of having a centralised power hub. Another strong point is the ability to set the exact voltage for the Canon dummy battery. Being able to dial in a stable, correct voltage means no camera dropouts, no overheating, and no guessing. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference during long imaging sessions. The dew heater control system works well and delivers smooth, adjustable output. My only criticism is the choice of AV‑style connectors for the dew ports. They work, but I’d prefer straight 12V barrel connectors or even a USB‑powered option for flexibility and compatibility with existing dew straps. The only real downside is the interface and COM‑port setup. It works once configured, but it’s not the most intuitive process, and getting the ports recognised the first time took more effort than it should. Overall, the SV241 Pro is a solid, reliable power controller with some genuinely useful features — especially the Always‑On port and adjustable voltage output. A few tweaks to the dew‑heater connectors and software interface would make it even better.

Astro Power Controller SV241 Pro | Svbony

SV241 Pro

Product Review

Everything arrived in good working order. Only complaint so far is the decision to have the input 12v be a 5.5x2.5 as opposed to 5.5x2.1 as most equipment is. Would have been a non issue if it included a 2.1 to 2.5 adapter along with the other cables to alow it to work with existing power supplies.

68 Degree Wide Angle Eyepieces | Svbony

68°UWA Eyepiece Set

Product Review

Absolutely very high quality set of eyepieces which work very well with my Celestron DX 130AZ. The wider angle is very noticeable and the sharpness and lightness of the image is compared to a 32mm Celestron Omni eyepiece which I have. The shipping is not so fast but the lower price compared to amazon makes convenient to purchase directly from Svbony. Absolutely recommended.

SV305C Pro Camera 2MP USB3.0 Guiding Camera

SV305C Pro

Product Review

This camera is very good for it's price. It can take very long exposures and maintain a cool temperature and with minimal noise. It also has a high framerate and a small pixel size which allows for a lot more detail in objects and less blockiness. A big disadvantage with this camera is it's small pixel size, but for smaller objects and planets it does a wonderful job. I have imaged Jupiter, Orion's Trapezium and The center of Andromeda. I have also used it as a guide camera and it does a wonderful job at that too. I recommend if on a budget, but if you can, go for something with a larger sensor size.
