SVBONY SV28 25-75x70mm Spotting Scope with Tripod for Camera Photo
Amazing
I bought this scope for an upcoming trip to Yellowstone NP. I took the scope out to a nearby park to try it out. Wow. I was amazed at the clarity for objects between a half mile to a mile away. I'm excited to take this on my Yellowstone trip. Nice job, Svbony. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the instructions are vague. Took me a while to figure out how to set it up, esp. the camera attachment.

Svbony MK105 Maksutov Cassegrain OTA 105mm Telescope 160mm Dovetail
Compact Solar / Planetary Mak
When SVBony announced their year end pricing, I had to try this little Mak! Instead of adding a barlow to my already heavier refractor, I got a smaller lighter OTA with more reach and resolution. I couldn't be happier! Why isn't it a 5 star review? It might be after I get some more time on it! I've only been able to image on it for a single session with my Nikon Z7. Watch this page, add they say.

SVBONY SV225 Alt-Azimuth Telescope Mount Adjustable for Visual Set
Just What I Wanted
Just received my SV225 yesterday. I have it mounted on a Orion Paragon HD tripod. Set it up in the daylight with my AT80ED fully configured with RACI two Inch diagonal and my favorite 25mm eyepiece. It holds everything nicely and is very sturdy. The craftsmanship is really good. It could be excellent, but there is a lot of play in the arm at the base as it is not a snug fit, and moves back and forth about half a centimeter in the altitude axis, even though I have the bolt as tight as it will go. I'll have to DIY a fix for this. All movements are very smooth. I would recommend in spite of the one flaw in mine.

SVBONY SV225 Alt-Azimuth Telescope Mount Adjustable for Visual Set
One Problem...Otherwise perfect
I got my SV225 this week. Upon assembly I found that the lower arm connected to the base has way too much play, I would say at least by half a centimeter and I have the bolt tightened as tight as it will get. It is very annoying when pointing to my desired target, because I have to account for the movement. It would seem I received one that got past quality control, and now I will have to figure out how to remedy this. Otherwise, it is a very solid mount able to hold by AT80ED with RACI, two inch diagonal, and my favorite 25mm eyepiece very well. I have all this mounted on a Orion Paragon HD tripod and it is rock solid, except, the aforementioned problem. Even though I am experiencing the one issue with the mount I would definitely recommend it to anyone that ask, but also warn them about my issues.

SV165 30mm F4 Mini Guide Scope for Astrophotography
Excels for Space, Weight, and Value
I wanted a compact, lightweight finder scope with decent magnification and good light gathering. Enter the SVBONY Mini Guide Scope 30mm + Illuminated Reticle 12.5mm Plossl combo. Assembled and set for infinity focus, it weighs 15.15 ounces (429 grams) & measures 6.5 inches long x 2.75 inches tall (16 cm x 7 cm). You get an uncorrected image: flipped upside down and left to right. That's alright. I tried adding a diagonal, but it was too long to get infinity, so I went straight through. The combo yields a 30mm fully multicoated objective lens x 120mm focal length achromat with a dedicated 12.5mm Plossl. The illuminated double cross hair reticle is a bonus you only find on more expensive finder scopes that are bulkier & weigh a lot more. The finder scope has f/4 light gathering capability. With the illuminated reticle 12.5mm plossl you get 9.6x magnification and 5.42° field of view. I like it much better than the red dot with 0x magnification. The plossl has a helicoid endcap to ensure you get the crosshairs in focus. I knocked one star off the rating because the rings don't have quite enough adjustment to put me dead center with alignment on my main telescope. I'm close enough for now and will look for another set of rings. However, the short distance between rings has ruled out other mounts I've looked at thus far. Overall, I'm pleased: met my weight goal, my finder doesn't look almost as large as my main scope, and I didn't drop a lot of cash for the features I got.

Svbony SA206 Digital Infrared Binoculars 4K Infrared Goggles observation wildlife
Surprisingly good for the price
Sold as binoculars, this is more a digital camera with zoom and an infra red option It can take photos or videos up to 4K, with a number of options to reduce the image size and resolution to save space on the included 32GB SD card. The IR mode works very well, I was able to see very well with it in near total darkness. I couldn't see at all without it. The unit is very light but feels fairly solid. I've only given 4 stars because the zoom buttons are dual function with the IR on/off buttons. It may be that I haven't got accustomed to it yet but I find it difficult to find the right amount of time to hold each button down to either zoom or switch to/from IR. I think this could be improved with separate buttons. The IR function could be on a slider or flip switch, for example.

SV172 Dew Heater Strip 240mm for Astronomy Telescopes & Cameras
Versatile reliable product
Used this for over a year with my small refractor and dslr lenses. Perfect with a power bank for travelling. Would be a five star, but I dropped it to four, as the power indicator USB switch times out after 1 hour. Would be useful to know this. Easy fix to just attach the dew heater directly to the power bank/camera usb without the switch.

SV105 Planetary Camera IMX307 for Beginners Astrophotography
Cheap and fun
Thankfully the new version has an improved long-exposure of 1s over the old version's 0.5s. I've shot with both for testing and the results are really nice for such a cheap camera. I kept the old version for myself. I recently wanted to try it out as a guider (or finder) to find the planets more easily when shooting the planets, and it REALLY struggles in Ekos. If you get one of these, stick to a Windows PC. I still need to try it with Astro DMx Capture on the Raspberry Pi. As a finder with SharpCap, it didn't do too badly, but testing it like that really exposed the lack of picture quality. This camera only works for planetary photography. The thing is that it's really cheap - so it's difficult to decide between 4 and 5 stars, but I decided 4 because of how it just does not work with Ekos. This camera is not able to get the best out of your telescope. You can get a fun planetary pic with it, and the colours are nice as well, but a better camera like the 305 or better will definitely get you better results. To dip your toes into the pool of planetary photography, it's a lovely starting camera.

SVBONY SV191 Zoom Telescope Eyepiece Super Wide Angle Black 1.25inch
Superb, but has one or two detractors
I have a humble eyepiece collection, but I have three which are in my use-everyday box; this, the 3-8mm and the 26mm 2". This zoom eyepiece is fantastic to use and I seldom put in my 15mm UWA, which does give a better view at 15mm. Not only is it wider, it's sharper and more contrasty, but still, the zoom is versatile. The 7.2-21.6 has a really good wide field of view when zooming in, but zoomed out it has that "looking through a straw" view. It's not that bad, but at the premium over the 7-21 it would have been nice to have a bit more field of view. It's perfectly sharp in the center of the view, and does have distortion towards the edge, but it doesn't bother me. I would say it's definitely in the Baader zoom league because although it's not as wide, it's definitely as sharp (or sharper if memory serves me well). It's not perfectly parfocal, but close enough. I really don't mind adjusting focus when zooming - I readjust quite often anyway, and it's still much easier than refocusing after swapping eyepieces. Minus a star is for the narrow field of view zoomed out. The 7-21 is spectacular and cheaper, so justifying this one becomes a little more difficult. For me it is still the one I prefer, and it does get some oohs and aahs at the star parties.

Cooled Color Astronomical Camera SV605CC | Svbony
Value for money
This is a great budget camera for the price but there is a minor "amp glow" showing on a corner of the sensor and there is somewhat more banding even after the upgrade. Satisfied but not thrilled!!!

Svbony SV905C 1.23MP Type-C 1.25" Guide Camera for Astronomy Guiding
Good camera
It's a good camera for guiding and planets. The only issue - usb socket is too deep inside the case and cable can easily detach.

1.25inch 7mm to 21mm 57°-40° Zoom Eyepiece | SVBONY SV135
Pretty good
Bought it a year back I think, and its served me well ever since then! Ive seen albedo features on mars, the rings of saturn and the cassini division, and a transit on jupiter! Its not only good for planets, but good on DSOs too! Its great for getting more detail on galaxies and nebulae, and makes it easy to pick out planetary nebulae from starfields. One issue though; The eyecup is terrible, and its VERY hard to fold down. Over time, it becomes so brittle that you cant fold it down without ripping it in many places. Other than that, the optical quality is great, and so is the zooming action.

SVBONY SV137 1.25" 2X FMC Barlow Lens with Brass Ring for Telescope
Nice barlow, with a few cons
Its a pretty nice barlow, built well while still being light and locks properly too, with a nice look and feel to it. The grip is nice too. Optical quality is nice, even though I rarely use it except for planetary use. Gets dirty easily though, like it collects dust REALLY well compared to any other eyepieces.

Svbony MK105 Maksutov Cassegrain OTA 105mm Telescope 160mm Dovetail
Fine Product
Purchased the telescope for visual observations and have been pleasantly surprised at the views. Construction of the OTA is good and well-constructed, although the coating is easily scratched, which I have done. After several uses, my thoughts are to place it on an EQ mount (Skywatcher Star Adventurer GTI, with a couple of ZWO cameras and ASIAIR plus for imaging. I also see the configuration being a mini-pc with the SV305 or SV905c main camera and SV705c guide camera for imaging. I must decide on the correct setup to keep balance. With the focal length of 1320mm this should be sufficient to provide images of both planets, galaxies and nebulae. When it comes to imaging, the use of the SV240 duo-band filter make the details of your image better, while eliminating much of the city light pollution. I am happy and the price was well worth the experience.

Svbony SV48P 102mm F6.5 Achromatic Refractor Telescope with 2.5" RAP
great budget OTA
I bought this OTA (SV48P 102MM) before thanks giving. It was advertised with a free color correction filter. when I received it about a week later shipped from china. I found out the lenses were very poor. I then contacted SVbony customer service and the sent me new objective lenses free to replaced the no good ones on the OTA. once replaced it was like a different telescope. very sharp optics and great looking stars. when paired with the color correction filter. It was like having a very super cheap ED OTA. the stars looked great and even sharper. when combined with my CLS filter or my moon and sky glow filter it was just like having an APO refractor. Of course its not a perfect OTA but from the price, the quality is outstanding and i will be using this telescope for a very long time, i'm very happy with my purchase.

Svbony MK105 Maksutov Cassegrain OTA 105mm Telescope 160mm Dovetail
Maksutov Cassegrain
I have been using this telescope for several months and consider it a good OTA for beginners interested in visual observation. THE FOCUSER is a little soft and will take time to figure out, so take your time. While it is mentioned that it is compatible with ZWO EAF I have not figured out how to attach one without a different focuser adapter. This is for a different review. Though primary use is visual I have attempted to use a camera to perform alittle photography. It is a bit tricky but I believe it can be achieved. I also have used the OTA in conjunction with both Svbony 2x barlows and the dialetic diagonal. Having purchased a number of their products I am satisfied with the price and quality. A budget conscious hobbyist will be satisfied as well.
