SV105 Planetary Camera IMX307 for Beginners Astrophotography

Great Value! I took these 2 pictures with a 4.5" 900mm focal length scope, without a Barlow. They turned out quite well! Just beware when switching from eyepiece-camera the sensor isn't *perfectly* centered and has a small FOV, so finding your object can be a challenge. It's a pretty noisy sensor too, but if you know what you're doing (which I don't completely) you can get some great pics!

The first night. Good image on first night. Was easy to set up and use. Used 80mm Carson refractor. I am happy with it so far. For the price I was impressed.

SV105 Planetary Camera IMX307 for Beginners Astrophotography

Quick out of the box set up on windows 8 Product came nicely packaged and seems to work just fine. I will be replacing the factory cable with one that doesn’t have two USB ports. I have tried on my Orion spaceprobe. 650mm F5 Newtonian Reflector. I was able to focus and capture a drop of water on a leaf about 1/4 mile away. It’s been raining for days so I will update when I get to use the thing for star gazing. The software takes some figuring out though if you want to break out of the auto modes. Can’t wait to get my hands on the 8 megapixel version. Update* I got a few pics of Jupiter using a 2x Barlow and everything is pretty good. The software is not bad but takes some serious manipulation to get right. I live in an area with level 12 light pollution so I think somebody in a better area could really get some good shots. Did I mention I can’t wait until the 8megapixel version gets back in stock! I’m just knocking a star off since I settled to for the 2mp version since I couldn’t get the 8. Also there is no visible o ring protecting the cap on the back of the unit. This is a super cheap part that really could pay off for the manufacturer in the long run.

SV105 Planetary Camera IMX307 for Beginners Astrophotography

Decent introduction to astrophotography! The Svbony SV105 is a decent, entry-level eyepiece camera for beginner astrophotography. It's a no-frills piece of kit - no focus, no zoom - such features are managed by the software or the scope itself. Unfortunately, the software recommended by Svbony is Windows-only and I have a MacBook Pro. I could have run Svbony's recommended software in a Windows VM (and maybe I will try that later), but instead I downloaded and used the free Open Astromomy Project's oaCapture Mac-native app. Because of the significant difference between I have a Celestron Nexstar 4se 4" cassegrain scope which has a 1325mm focal length. Therefore, it takes significant turning of the focus knob on the scope to bring objects into focus on the camera after changing from the eyepiece. The Svbony website recommends using a focal reducer for focal lengths between 1200mm and 1500mm, so I may have to invest in one of those. After a bit of a learning curve, however, I was able to take some photos. These were taken the night of the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction, December 21, 2020, with no filter. All in all, considering the very affordable price and recognizing that the Windows software might be superior to an OSS package, I'm very pleased.

RecommendedRecommended Good for planet photograph, not among the most excellent ones, but definitely good enough. Attachment is a picture taken at 2025/09/17 night at Tokyo with a 100mm 1000mm newton, the camera was doing quite well, but the scope and light pollution was not.

SV571 disconnects Camera is excellent. But! Supplied Power supply is rubbish and low current/voltage can/will cause disconnects. I just connected a 5.5 12v supply straight from sv241 that’s powered by a 100W (12 V, 8 A) cigarette lighter plug connected to an anker solix c800x power bank. Rock solid.

Is Ok It's not even close to what you are going to see through the eyepiece but you will get the idea. I can display Saturn on the TV so my 83 year old father can see it but if you want to see qhat Saturn looks like, skip the camera. Stars for ease of use and simplicity.

have to buy adapters for some spotting scopes and cameras Will not fir the spotting scope I have (Outbound) and can't find an adapter to fit. Does work well and a astronomical scope. No zoom capability while viewing. You need to take a picture then zoom in with your photo editor.

Works well and is quite fun to play with to see what goes bumping in the night Have spent hours standing outside at night peering into the darkness. Where I live there's a surprisingly large amount of game that can be seen at night sometimes very close to the house. This unit has quite a bit going for it with a couple of flaws. Has some reviews stated these are not binoculars but a backlit viewing screen. At a full seven setting the IR projector throws light a respectable distance. At least 50 plus yards. It high settings items closer to you can throw a little loght scatter. Making it hard to peer through foliage but can be done. Unit is plastic and lightweight. Have not had to recharge yet battery life seems quite good. Unit takes both photos and video although I would recommend when taking video to bump up the setting a little bit as it does require a little more light then the photos. The neck strap keeps secure when walking around in the darkness. Can definitely take quality videos and pictures in full daylight but why would you. Taking quality photos and videos takes a steady hand and a little practice. A few cons: No audio?. I can hear light level adjustments on videos, maybe I missing something here. Staring at the backlit display can severely interfere with your night vision. I recommend turning display brightness as low as it can go although it is still appears bright in the darkness. Unit is plastic might not stand up to abuse. Have not used in the wet, might not stand up to that either. The fact that I have spent so many hours playing with it must mean I like it.

Svbony SA206 Digital Infrared Binoculars 4K Infrared Goggles observation wildlife

Much more than I expected at this price point... I would like to stress this is positive review. By that I mean it may sound negative because I want readers to know the limitations of this product. I ordered the SVBONY SX31 Night Vision Goggles because I common need to see in low light conditions in our back yard. First they obviously are NOT goggles. This device has a 3.2" screen that shows an enhanced video. It also has a camera that can record video or snapshots. The SX31 has a good variety of settings that can be adjusted. Saying that I feel this product should have more push buttons. It is easy to get button confused because this buttons have many multifunctions. Overall, I was really impressed by the performance of this device at this price point. I did not expect it to be able to work as well as it does. The 7 IR modes are backwards in my opinion. The first setting that comes up is the highest sensitivity and in my experience I am always finding myself having to go thru 4 or 5 settings to get to the best picture. The build is plastic feeling, but somewhat solid. It is really good that it has a tripod mount on bottom. The SX31 comes with a 32GB memory card which is nice. It also comes with charging cable, lens cloth, carrying strap and bag. It comes with a 3.2 inch screen but calls out a 4.3 screen in title, not sure why. A great feature is when I plug the SX31 into my Mac it pops up a disk of the movie and photo files on my desktop without any installed drivers. The one issue that maybe a deal breaker is that if you select 36M image size, the jpeg photos are corrupted (see photo example below). All other settings work fine. Probably a future firmware bug fix. Also, I have also attached a quick video on the performance of the SX31 in my back yard. As stated I was impressed with this inexpensive camera with seven IR modes. In my opinion this product deserves a 4-star rating.

Besserer Kontrast Der Mondfilter bringt einen besseren Kontrast so das man Krater usw. auf der Mondoberfläsche etwas besser wahrnimmt wie ohne Filter. Die Verarbeitung ist gut und die Box mit Einlage ist eine gute Aufbewahrung. Er könnte noch etwas mehr Licht herausfiltern, da mir das Bild immer noch etwas zu hell ist. Das ist aber selbstverständlich ein rein subjektives Empfinden.

Good quality for the price. The item came perfectly with no damage, well it shouldn't anyway correct!. It looks good quality, I choose this filter over other cheaper filters because I am comfortable with the svboney brand . Also the ring around the filter is metal not plastic in like the other budget filters. I am keeping this filter because I know I will need it at some point with the moon on a very bright night ect . The only reason I gave 4 starts is because I am a beginner and I have not had the chance to use it . But I'm sure for the cost it will do a more than good enough job for me . .yes I recommend this filter and the brand svboney as I have other lenses with for the cost are very good in my opinion, all seem well made I'm happy with them . Go ahead give them a try .
