SV406P 20-60X80 ED Spotting Scope for Camera Birding Photography

Product Review

"I have been using this spotting scope for the past six months, and the performance has been outstanding. The optical clarity allows for remarkably detailed, close-up views of distant wildlife. Thanks to the integrated ED glass, it also delivers exceptional clarity for planetary observation. I highly commend SVBONY for engineering such a masterpiece."

Svbony SV550 122 Triplet APO Telescope SV209 0.8X Flattener Kit

Product Review

The SVBONY SV550 122mm f/7 APO refractor is one of the best refractors for astrophotography at this price range. The optical quality is great — pinpoint stars across a wide field, gorgeous contrast, and the kind of color correction you'd expect from a premium apochromat. Whether I'm imaging nebulae, galaxies, or star clusters, this scope consistently delivers crisp, detailed results that make post-processing a joy. The build quality feels solid and premium, the focuser is smooth and with minimal backlash, and paired with a 0.8x reducer it becomes an incredibly versatile imaging platform. I genuinely cannot recommend it enough. But what truly sets SVBONY apart is their customer support. The main lens element on my unit developed fogging, which prompted me to attempt cleaning it myself. Unfortunately, in the process I accidentally damaged the element — entirely my own fault. I contacted SVBONY expecting the worst, but their support team was responsive, friendly, and genuinely eager to help from the very first message. Without hesitation, they arranged to replace the damaged lens element. All I had to pay was only the shipping cost. That level of after-sales care is rare anywhere in the telescope market. They didn't have to do that — the damage was my mistake — but they stood behind their product and their customer anyway. It left a lasting impression. Highly, highly recommended. (All shared images were done with SV550 122mm + 0.8x reducer, IMX533MC or MM camera, on a belt moded HEQ5, processed in Pixinsight).

Svbony 0.5x Focal Reducer 1.25" for Telescope Photography Observing

Product Review

Can you please make this in 0.7x - I have an SV410 90x and when using the SC001 the zoom is just way to much. 0.5 is approx 45 power but hoping to achieve about a 60-70x. Any other ideas folks?

This is truly a great little scope that not only produces excellent edge to edge images but super sharp and easy to use. For such a small scope this bats way above its average. Could not be happier.

Svbony SV48P 102mm F6.5 Achromatic Refractor Telescope with 2.5" RAP

Product Review

Amateur Astronomer here. Was using a Gskyer 90600 and standard eyepieces. Decided to upgrade - got the: SVBONY SV188 Dielectric Mirror Star Diagonal SVBONY Redline 1.25 lens kit - 20mm, 15mm, 9mm, and 6mm wide angle lenses. SVBONY 2X Barlow Lens Night and day - much cleaner resolution. However the Gskyer was very difficult to focus at extreme high resolutions. Since I was thus far impressed with SVBONY, I purchased the SV48P 102mm, along with a Gold Line 4mm lens. Was difficult mounting on my Celestron – Heavy Duy Alt-Azimuth Tripod (the first upgrade I did with the Gskyer), but was able to get it mounted. Tested tonight on Venus and Jupiter. Sun was setting, so keep in mind this was all before complete sunset and darkness. Also in a Suburb of Tulsa - so never the best skies. Very crisp clear view of Venus - focus on this thing is amazing as well as clarity. No matter your scope, you will never get fine details of Venus due to the atmosphere, but resolving the shadows was quite clear. Once Jupiter was visible in the sky - limited time this time of year in Oklahoma as low on the horizon - was able to quickly pull it up. Again the focus was amazing and very clean. Decided to push this scope to see what kind of magnification I could pull off. 4mm was super crisp - 165.75 magnification. Me being me, decided to push it with the 2x Barlow. Was amazed with using the fine tune focuser, I was able to resolve it very crisp and clean. That's 331.5X Magnification with a 102mm scope with a theoretical max magnification of around 250. Completely blown away by the clarity this thing pulls. the bands were clean and crisp. However - not the scope's fault - my mount would shake even in the slightest wind. Next upgrades would be a heavy EQ mount with star tracking capabilities and a decent camera for astrophotography. This scope is definitely capable of amazing results. Please note you will see Chromatic Aberration at extreme magnification, but the color correction filter should help limit that. Excellent Scope and product line overall - at least what I have purchased.

Petzval Refractor Astrograph Lens | SVBONY SV545

Product Review

OUTSTANDING!!! Absolutely stunning image quality, au pair with other famous instruments sold at twice its price. I was suprised expecially by the perfect stars geometry at the corners in APC format, (probably even at full frame, but I have no such a camera to test it...), color correction is perfect. A nice addition is the autofocuser support, pulleys and belt provided: my DIY Arduino focuser just adapt perfectly (and autofocus with NINA was perfect at first attempt, no backlash, no problem at all). Probably my best purchase in the recent years, thank you!

SVBONY SC001 Wifi Camera for Spotting Scope & Astronomy Telescope

Product Review

Looking at videos on Youtube I was a bit skeptical: I was a bit afraid that it would have been very complicated to use, and maybe the quality was not good enough. Instead, the quality is amazing, full HD, and it is very very simple to use. I use it for birding. I advise to attach a cheap bicycle phone holder to the tripod, like you see in the attached pictures, in order to have your hands free and adjust the focus properly. I would like that SVBONY would put on the market a 4K version of this camera.

Petzval Refractor Astrograph Lens | SVBONY SV545

Product Review

Fantastic Value and Outstanding Results on the North America Nebula! Package & First Impressions: The telescope arrives well-packaged in a dedicated padded soft case. The box includes everything needed to get moving: the main Petzval lens, an integrated handle with a built-in finder saddle, the primary dovetail mounting plate, an electronic focuser bracket, and the necessary assembly screws and wrenches The Build & Assembly: As someone completely new to the astrophotography hobby, getting the imaging train assembled was a learning curve. Combining the lens with my other Svbony gear—specifically the SV241 Pro Power Controller and the SV165 Guide Scope / SV905C Guiding Camera combination—was slightly fiddly at first . In particular, the dual-sided mounting bar features a male Arca-Swiss rail profile on top, which made it very tricky to mount the power hub since the hub comes out of the box with a standard Vixen-style foot. However, the overall process was straightforward once figured out. I bypassed the profile mismatch by removing the foot and passing a bolt straight through the lower rail slot to lock the SV241 Pro hub flat underneath the lens barrel. This completely solved the mounting issue and made balancing the entire telescope assembly incredibly easy. Performance & Results: The real-world performance of this 203mm f/4.5 optical design is brilliant [INDEX]. Running long 300-second (5-minute) exposures through a dual-band filter on an automated loop sequence, the telescope delivered fantastic results on the North America Nebula. The stars came out pin-sharp across the frame, registering a tight, crisp HFR score of 1.69 in N.I.N.A. The fast f/4.5 light-gathering speed pulled out massive amounts of deep emission gas detail that stacked beautifully in processing. Verdict: For the price point, this telescope represents fantastic value for money. It has a few initial setup quirks to navigate if you are a beginner, but the optical quality and compatibility with other native Svbony accessories punch way above its weight.

SVBONY SV241 Astronomy DC+USB HUB Box for Astrophotography

Product Review

Got this power box out and hooked it right up to my telescope, 2 dew heaters (USB), SvBony 605 CC cooled astro-camera, and it hooked up instantly to Sharpcap pro through my Dell laptop. Guide scope also hooked up instantly to computer and PHD2. No additional software or drivers required. Just plug everything in, rearranged my cables, strapped the power box on with some Velcro and zip ties, and it just started working. The 12 volt power cable seems to be working well, and powering everything just fine. Appears very well made and exactly what I needed for my deep space astrophotography rig. Not able to image anything for the next week, but looking forward to trying it out in the field.

Color Planetary Camera SV705C | Svbony

Product Review

Hello, I received an email that i can review a product for extra points, and i am writing to let you know about my experience with the SV705C camera. It uses an IMX585 sensor which i really like, because usually cameras over $500 have it. I would say this camera is beginner and budget friendly, and probably the best deal of a planetary camera a company has ever made. This is a picture i took of M20, the trifid nebula with my 127/1000 reflector.

SVBONY SV550 80mm f/6 APO Triplet Refractor Telescope for Astrophoto

Product Review

I bought this telescope to replace an achromatic telescope with a short focal length. This telescope is very portable, with a short focal length, making it ideal for astrophotography and deep-sky observation. It also has no chromatic aberration. It was truly a great purchase because the image quality is very sharp.
