SVBONY May Photography Contest: "Capturing the Cosmos, Framing Wonders"

I. Key Contest Information

• Theme: Capturing the Cosmos, Framing Wonders (An exclusive SVBONY camera challenge. All celestial targets welcome. Focus on camera performance and creative expression.)

• Duration:

  • Submission Period: May 1st – May 31st

  • Review & Winner Announcement: June 1st – June 5th

• Eligibility: Global astrophotography enthusiasts and SVBONY users (both beginners and professionals are welcome).

• Core Rule: Must use SVBONY-branded astronomical cameras for all submissions (including models like SC571CC, SV605CC, SC715C, SV505C, SV305 Pro, etc.). There are no restrictions on celestial targets (Moon, planets, deep-sky objects, star trails, meteor showers, man-made satellites, etc., are all accepted).

II. Submission Guidelines

(I) Content Requirements

• Submissions must align with the theme "Capturing the Cosmos, Framing Wonders." No restrictions on celestial targets, composition, creativity, or post-processing styles. We encourage unique, personalized artistic expressions.

• Work must be original and shot entirely with an SVBONY camera. SVBONY telescopes, filters, and other accessories can be used. Post-processing such as color adjustment and stacking is permitted (but original capture metadata must be preserved).

  • Note: As the SC571CC is our annual flagship product, submissions using the SC571CC will receive additional points. This will not affect the final award results.

• Multiple submissions of the same work are prohibited, as is plagiarism. Violators will be disqualified and permanently banned from all future SVBONY-brand events.

(II) Format Requirements

• Image Format: JPG or PNG.

• File Size: ≥2MB and ≤20MB per single image.

• Resolution: ≥2000×1500 pixels.

• Required Submission Contents: Original artwork + Capture Metadata (Camera model, exposure time, ISO/Gain, focal length, location/time) + A brief description (under 100 words) of the creative concept or the story behind the shot.

• Additional Requirements: Submissions must include the exclusive tag #SVBONYCamera. When sharing on social media, please also use the tag #SVBONY.

IV. How to Participate (3 Simple Steps - Mirroring the Official Process)

1. Create & Share (Pre-warm & Traffic Drive): Use your SVBONY camera to create a masterpiece. Post your work in the Facebook community "SVBONY Telescope Club" or on your personal timeline, using the hashtag #SVBONYCamera. Gain inspiration through community interaction.

2. Official Submission (Entry): Visit the dedicated event page on the SVBONY official website (Reference: https://www.svbony.com/pages/awards). Click "Submit Now," fill in the required information, and upload your artwork with its capture metadata.

3. Confirmation & Announcement: Eligible works will be announced in the "Svbony Awards" section of the official website and across our major social media platforms.

V. Prizes

• First Prize (1 Winner): 800 Official Website Points (equivalent to $80).

• Second Prize (2 Winners): 500 Official Website Points (equivalent to $50).

• Third Prize (3 Winners): 300 Official Website Points (equivalent to $30).
