I have a newtonian f5 reflector with a focal length of 750mm. Can I focus without needing a reducer or a barlow?
yes, you can

I have a Celestron Nexstar 4se scope, which has a 1325mm focal length. I can get an image in my SV105, but it does require significant adjustment of the scope's focus. I was wondering if a focal reducer might help, but you say here that it is recommended

Hello,Tom Eisenmenger, The blog means that it is a relatively good match. You could also use it with your telescope, but whether it can achieve focus depends on your own test results.

Has anyone tested the camera using a focal reducer on a 1400mm (or thereabouts) reflector telescope?

In the same situation as you, wondering if you ever got it working using the focal reducer?

Does the SVBony F9115A focal reducer also work with the SV105? I want to use it on a dobson for moon photography but the images are too big now ;-)
Karida
Our reduced focus reducer is only F9154A, which could be used with SV105, but there is no guarantee that the entire moon can be photographed at once.
