I love how it looks and it would have been perfect if it had actually came with the parts to attach it to the mount. I don't know what happened there but I am really disappointed. Updated: So I was able to use the assistant chat to quickly get a replacement shipped out to me. Once it arrived it had all the bolts and wrench and was quick and easy to attach. Love the color and it's well made from what I can tell. Using the ZWO 30mm guide scope and it attached easily and is very sturdy from what I can see. I attached it to the stock rings on my AT 80ED and it looks really great. Exactly what I needed. The handle also makes it very convenient to carry it outside when I set up.

Awesome Handle/mount Purchased this to use with 6in reflector. Handle added to rings easily and provides a steady base for my 50mm guide-scope. Purchasing another for my refractor since having a handle on the scope makes mounting safer and easier, especially in the dark. The unit is light, so not much weight added to scope. A side benefit is it's finish and workmanship, both excellent.

Must have for you SV550 Given that the weight of the SV550 is 5kg (11 lbs), I can't imagine trying to mount the OTA repeatedly without the add of this handle. And of course bonus is you can mount your guidescope to the handle, if you so choose. It was a no-brainer to me. At 135mm long, I found I had to reposition the front OTA ring and this resulted in the dew shield not being able to retract all the way (with caps in place the dew shield retracted, the OTA is now approx. 353mm). All in all what I would consider an essential upgrade to your SV550.

Good carrying Handle My telescope only has a single carrying at the base which means you are carrying 20+lbs in an unbalanced manner. If it slips,…….not good! After some trial and error, I put together a Williams Optics 90 mm Saddle which mounts on the Dovetail of the Scope, and then attached this handle from Svbony. It works perfectly to carry the OTA. If you have larger hands/fingers, probably should go with the Longer Handle. They are hard to get so the this works great for secure two hands balancing/carrying. Celestron makes a great telescope, but they have nothing in the way of such accessories. I spent hours on the phone and Web with them and they weren’t interested. Same thing with trying to replace the rubbish StarPointer red dot finderscope with a FAR SUPERIOR right angle Optical Finder. Any way, the Svbony handle really works well so a great find to solve my dilemma for a SAFE carrying handle.

A nice upgrade This is a great replacement for the small bracket that came with my SVBony telescope. Everything fit perfectly and gives me much more versatility when adding cameras to balance the weight. A good addition to your astrophotography needs.

Can be used on other than SVBONY telescopes Had to drill holes out a bit to mount it on my Orion 120mm F/8.3 long tube telescope. Looks great and is very light and strong. I am sure no drilling will be needed on the Svbony telescope this was made for. I just ccouldn't fing a good solution fot the Orion untill I got this.

SV211 135mm Telescope Handle Bar for SV550 80APO & SV503 80ED

Well made and useful accessory After almost dropping my 102mm SV48P telescope, I decided I should buy this to use as a carry handle. It mounted right up to my telescope's rings with the two included M6 hex screws and wrench. The kit also included four M4 thumb screws. Everything in the box was extremely well machined. Although I don't use it to mount accessories, I'm certain it would be quite sturdy as it is made from a single piece of metal. The handle is anodized red with white SVBony branding on one side. The lettering is small and obviously intended to identify the part rather than advertise the brand, which is nice. My telescope's dew cap already has a fairly large logo. The bar definitely makes the telescope significantly easier to carry around and mount/dismount. Overall, I'm pleased with the SV211. It has found a permanent place on my telescope.

Excellent workmanship Handle's machining and anodized finish is excellent. I installed it on the SV503-102ED with minor issues. It's much easier to mount and carry now. The supplied screws at 8mm only engaged 2 turns. Probably adequate, but good practice is at least 3 turns of engagement. I had 10mm screws that I shortened to engage 4 threads without protruding thru the ring mounts. Washers added to a longer screw are another option. Be mindful your screws have adequate engagement without protruding thru the rings and marring your scope tube. I also replaced my original bottom vixen dovetail plate with the available SV219 SvBony 210mm plate. That allowed me to add a safety screw and nut at the front slotted end, to prevent sliding out of the saddle should things loosen over night. My original plate was long enough (195mm) to fit the handle, but not long enough to accommodate a safety screw.
