Well Built and Stable, But Short!Well Built and Stable, But Short! The tripod is well built and matches well with the SV225 Alt/AZ mount. I bought both together to create a light portable visual rig using an AT72EDII telescope. It has provided a stable platform for the telescope and I have used it on several evenings to view M45 and Saturn. The only downside to this tripod is its height. It is a perfect height with its legs extended for a small telescope if you are sitting down. But you will find it extremely low if you are standing up, prepare to bend over for a long time! The only other small improvement would be if the tray had holes in it for storing eyepieces, but the eyepieces can still be laid on the tray.

Nice short tripod!Nice short tripod! This is a great little tripod. Seems sturdy and capable. Thought it might be a good fit for a small project of mine. I was looking for the best alternative for the tabletop mount that came with my skywatcher 150mm "heritage" telescope. Think I found it!

Decent Tripod - a bit short Solid and well built tripod...legs have 2 sections and once extended, the tripod is a little on the short side. Could probably pair up nicely with a Pier extension or tall mount

SVBONY SV225 Alt-Azimuth Telescope Mount Adjustable for Visual Set

Smaller versionSmaller version This is the smaller version of svbony's alt az mount. I'm using it for 80 & 90mm refractors and a 114mm newtonian. The mount is well built, but I have stripped it down and relubed it with super lube, after cleaning the dreaded "synta gunk" off of it. I also "retuned" the worm gears. It's nice and SMOOTH now! I'll be doing this with the larger one aswell, since it really isn't very hard to do and imo is fun! I also had to buy slightly longer tiny grub screws (M3x 5mm) to replace one that seems loose. But in all, both of these mounts are pretty decent!

Very good with a big design flaw. Good mount that does its job well for the price but its knobs have a design flaw where the handles fall off even if you tighten them. Other than that it’s very helpful for fine tuning your views of planets and other viewing.

SVBONY SV225 Alt-Azimuth Telescope Mount Adjustable for Visual Set

An In-Expensive but Stable Mount For A Small TelescopeAn In-Expensive but Stable Mount For A Small Telescope I have done astrophotography for many years, but decided I wanted to set up a very light visual rig using an AT72EDII refractor. Many reviews have been done on this inexpensive ALT/AZ mount including an excellent one by Ed Ting on YouTube. The mount seemed well constructed, the only defect I noted was one of the taped holes for screwing in the Alt bar was a bit rough, but I eventually got it screwed in. The only other issue is the slow motion controls often come loose and have to be retightened, however, this is a common issue with many mounts with slow motion controls. On the matching SVBony tripod, the mount is very stable and I was able to view Saturn and one of its moons using the AT72EDII at 130x and it provided a stable view. The Alt/Az fine controls were smooth and I was able to easily adjust to find targets and move the scope to follow the Earth's rotation.

Narrow angle, but high quality Has a very small clear aperture, around 15mm, but in optical quality may be the best erector, other than Zeiss for high powers. Vignettes with eyepieces longer or wider than a 20mm Plossl.

Basic Diagonal Mirror The diagonal mirror arrived on time and in good condition. The diagonal mirror was well packaged. The mirror is well built and has a nice appearance. For the price, I was rather surprised by the quality of the item. I can recommend the diagonal mirror to anyone who wants an inexpensive and basic diagonal mirror.

Bueno, pero no Perfecto.Bueno, pero no Perfecto. Por el precio, es un buen filtro, especialmente para principiantes o quienes no buscan fotografías 100% perfectas. Produce halos, especialmente en las estrellas más brillantes. Pero es un buen producto para comenzar en el aprendizaje y uso de fotografía de doble banda estrecha.

Svbony SV220 2" H-Alpha OIII 7nm Telescope Filter for Nebula Photo

Does a good job for an inexpensive filter.Does a good job for an inexpensive filter. Giving this a 4 for the time being since I'm using an unmodified DSLR which isn't very sensitive to Ha. That said I'm getting very decent results. I'm now in the North Carolina mountains (Bortle 5-6) so I expect to get better results and I have an ASI533MC Pro on order. Wwill update the review after testing with a real astro camera. Attached are images of NGC6992-C33-Veil Nebula and NGC2359-Thor'sHelmet taken in Bortle 8-9 skies near downtown St, Petersburg, Fl and with < 1 hour imaging on each.

Works for what I needed it for Well made product that fits my Meade LX85's female vixen holder. Be aware that the screws included are NOT 1/4 inch 20 thread that are used on most DSLR cameras. You will have to provide your own 1/4 inch screw yourself.

May be the best deal for a quality 2X Barlow...May be the best deal for a quality 2X Barlow... This review is for the SvBony SV216 - 4 element, 2X APO barlow. This is a very well made product that can compete with the more expensive barlow's on the market today. The construction is top notch, and the three thumb screw design will secure your eyepiece without worry. I gave the SV216 barlow 4 stars instead of 5 because it is heavy, more than twice the weight of many other barlow lenses. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, 4 elements encased with quality aluminum will have some weight to it. However, the lens isn't for all telescopes, smaller less expensive telescopes will struggle with the slow motion controls because of the added weight of the barlow and combined eyepiece, especially if a phone is added for astrophotography. Telescopes with higher end mounts and focusers will have no issues, so, I'm just putting that out there. If you are using a beginner scope under 102mm and are looking for more magnification. Consider something like the SvBony SV137 Barlow lens, it is much lighter and will serve the needs of your telescope without compromising focus and tracking. On with the SV216, the SV216 is constructed to take advantage of flat field lenses, and it does this well. The field of view is well maintained and images are bright and crisp. The lens is designed to fit a 1.25 inch diagonal, however if your scope is 2 inch, the SV216 works well with adaptors. I was able to get the lens on sale for 60 dollars US, which is a great bargain. I know of nothing else at this price point that comes close to matching the quality of this barlow lens.
