SVBONY SV28 25-75x70 Zoom Spotting Scope with Tripod for Bird Watching
Flimsy Tripod GREAT Optics, But the extra money for this flimsy tripod is NOT worth it for this scope it is to heavy for the tripod to hold it in any position, and shaky especially when zoomed out.

Svbony SV260 5 Bandpass Filter Light Pollution Deep Sky Photography

Very good for Borttle 7 or lower. Am in Borttle about 8 , 7 looking to the East and 9 looking to the West, same object photographing to the east look really good than picture taken in the west, I think SV240 or SV220 it’s better from my home, but in Borttle 7 or lower it’s very good.

Astro Power Controller SV241 Pro | Svbony
Svbony SV241 Pro - Solid build, does the job, but some design quirksSvbony SV241 Pro - Solid build, does the job, but some design quirks Svbony SV241 RRO So far I have only tested the unit, not used it long-term in the field yet. If anything changes, I will update this review. What I like: - Good build quality, feels solid and well made. - Temperature and humidity sensors are included in the box. - Basically, everything works as expected. What I don’t like: - No control via mobile app — a PC is required. (a USB cable is included, but it’s quite short for comfortable use, about 1 meter). - Sometimes after powering on, all outputs are turned off by default, so you must connect it to a PC and enable them, otherwise no power is delivered. - There are two dew heater outputs, but they work differently: one is automatic only, the other is manual power control only. This is confusing and inconsistent. Important to note: although all output ports are 2.1 mm, the power input is 2.5 mm. I made a mistake when buying the power supply and had to buy another one. I’m now using it with a Pegasus Astro 12V 10A power supply. Overall, it seems like a good and solid device, but the software logic and some design decisions could definitely be improved.

Telescope controller First one I ordered had an issue, shorted internally. Returned it and new one worked flawlessly.

SVBONY SV241 Astronomy DC+USB HUB Box for Astrophotography
Affordable solution, but short cables and confusing power behaviour on the USB 2.0, 3.1 and C ports. Seems to work fine so far, but the USB ports on the long edge marked USB 3.1, USB 2.0 and Type C have confusing power behaviour: If you connect the box to 12V, the two ports marked "5V Out" (which only carry power, but no data) deliver 5V. But the other three USB-A ports and the C port remain unpowered. If you connect a powered USB port (e.g. an USB 3 port on your laptop) to the USB-B input without also providing the box with 12V, they also remain unpowered. Only when you deliver both 12V on the 12V input and simultaneously 5V through the USB-B input port, will the additional USB ports activate and deliver power as well. At that point, it appears you can disconnect the USB-B port from the laptop and the ports will remain powered. But if you power cycle the box, they turn off again until you connect both its 12V input and the USB-B port again. This isn't mentioned in the manual, and is a bit confusing. Also a bit clumsy for those of us who need more powered USB ports, but who don't use astro computers or laptops (e.g. us DSLR/mirrorless users with a tracker, dew heater and camera that all want to be powered from USB). Furthermore, the cables are a bit on the short side: The 12V car plug adapter that serves as the 12V input is just long enough to reach from the mount point on the telescope on my tripod to the battery bank sitting on the ground, but barely. It doesn't allow for placing the battery box a meter away from the tripod, to have some distance between the battery and your expensive gear. I'd feel a bit safer if I could place my power box a bit further from the telescope. And the USB A to B cable is so short that it's useless for astronomers who connect directly to their laptops; you really need an astronomy computer mounted to the telescope if you want to reach a power source with that cable, and then a proper long cable between that and your laptop. Which defeats the purpose, since many astro computers have their own power distribution built in. Other than those nitpicks, no complaints so far. And the price is more than reasonable.

SVBONY SV241 Astronomy DC+USB HUB Box for Astrophotography
Warum?

Off-Axis Guider OAG SV238 | Svbony
Needs (any kind of) extension between camera and O.A.G. (Still waiting to use it fully - weather) Very nicely made, helical focuser feels great and is lockable, good clamp for guide camera, it should be a great upgrade from my Pegasus O.A.G. However, its built for using a filter drawer or wheel, which I don't normally use, and I feel there should be more explicit explanation of the need for those things or an extension tube in order to get the main camera far enough away from the OAG that the Guide camera can reach focus. I tried without a filter drawer and the guide camera could not get close enough for focus. So even though its a great base price, be aware of the need to get the matching filter drawer if you don't already have that (or a filter wheel).

Off-Axis Guider OAG SV238 | Svbony
Update-Will be great!Update-Will be great! -Update, SVBony quickly contacted me and is sending the appropriate filter drawer ASAP so I can make use of this, at a reduced price since there was some confusion when ordered. I'll update the review again once I can test. I give it 2 stars because it does appear to be well made, the problem is you MUST use their M54 filter drawer, there is no threads or adapter for one side, it can only screw on to the filter drawer, I tried to make a 3d printed adapter, but the bores for the screws are not common sized so none of my M3 screws will work, it comes with a few, but they are too long, if I made the adapter that thick I would not be able to focus, the description at one point and the instructions say it has threads on both sides. I did receive it faster than expected, was excited when I saw it was delivered.

will probably require a spacer on your main camera Like other users, I had trouble getting a ZWO asi* mini camera to come to focus with this thing. I ended up needing to attach an 8mm extension tube between my main camera and the filter wheel, which then allowed for more backspacing on the guide camera. This was annoying, and would sure be nice if ZWO would address it by making the focuser part less huge. But hey, rummage through the adapter drawer, grab an extension, you're back to imaging.

SVBONY SV231 1.25" Fringe Killer Color Correction Filter for Lunar
Pretty good, but not a magic fix for achromat telescopes I purchased this as SVBony's recommendation to knock out chromatic aberration (CA) with a 102mm SV48P achromat telescope. SVBony's description claimed it would improve the SV48P CA to be similar to that of the SV503 ED telescope. While I don't have an SV503 to compare against, I will say that CA is somewhat improved, but not completely. For bright stars such as Arcturus or Betelgeuse, CA is virtually eliminated when in perfect focus. The slightest nudge out reveals the expected red/blue separation - but not as pronounced as without the filter. Jupiter is a few days past opposition and bright in the sky right now. While CA is improved at higher power (220x), a blue/purple haze is visible all around the planet. It does, however, improve contrast in the planet's bands. For daylight terrestrial observation, a dull yellowish color cast is quite obvious but not offensive. I will definitely be keeping this filter to use with my achromat telescope to observe brighter night sky objects. But it is definitely not a magic upgrade that can turn achromat optics into something else.

Svbony SV230 Zoom Eyepiece Clickstop Parfocal 8-20mm 1.25" 2" Adapter
1.5 not 2In Good quality It is a very good lens, but it is not a 2 inch. When you take the bottom cap off, you'll realize it's only an 11/2 lines, but the quality is very good.

Svbony SV226 M42 Filter Drawer Quick Switch 1.25" 2" Astrophotography
Caution with using this with a "duo" camera: guide sensor covered Caution with using this with a "duo" camera like the ASI2600duo. The M42 opening will cover part of the guide sensor. Ok for the primary sensor, just not the guide sensor. Some of the guide sensor is showing, might be able to get away with finding a guide star, but not optimum. Other than that they work out nice for non duo cameras that I have. I ended up having to buy the zwo M54 filter drawers that have M48 openings for use with this camera. Would have been nice if svbony made the opening M48.

Svbony SV226 M42 Filter Drawer Quick Switch 1.25" 2" Astrophotography
Almost perfect This filter drawer could have been perfect, but why didn't they make it so it has female threads on the camera side so it could go flush against the camera, then if you wanted spacing you could add, even running their camera no way to put the drawer up closer to the camera

Svbony SV226 M42 Filter Drawer Quick Switch 1.25" 2" Astrophotography
Functional Filter Drawer Filter wheels? Those are so 2010. Whoever thought up the idea of a filter drawer needs to be promoted, immediately. In all seriousness, this item obviously functions a bit differently than a wheel. If you're a serious imager who is using an indoor setup, then obviously an electronic filter wheel is the better choice. But for the rest of us, a filter drawer like this one is simpler to use. Screwing onto the front of your camera, the drawer allows you to easily swap out any filters you own without having to change out anything on your imaging train. It accommodates both 2" and 1.25" sizes. It is virtually identical to the ZWO filter drawer in both size (21mm) as well as the standard threading on both sides (M42 & M48). You may need a M48 to 1.25" adapter. This thing is heavy duty and looks great, like a piece of cast iron... and that's the problem. The SVBONY filter drawer weighs 8oz more than the ZWO filter drawer, a full half-pound. If you already have, say, an ADC or a Barlow or other equipment attached to your scope, this adds a not-insignificant amount of weight. But here there is also a nice trade-off in your favor: the price. The SVBONY filter drawer comes in $30 cheaper than the ZWO filter drawer, so for astrophotographers on a budget this is the way to go if your mount can handle it. Virtually all items related to astronomy and astrophotography depend on your particular setup, budget, and goals. If this product is right for you I can enthusiastically recommend it for the quality, functionality, and the price.
