SV305C Pro Camera 2MP USB3.0 Guiding Camera

Excellent for guiding, and also for the moon and p

The SV305 is a great camera. Excellent for guiding, and also for the moon and planets, although I would strongly recommend the SV305pro as it has USB3, which is very important for taking pictures of planets.

SVBONY SV227 2" SHO 5nm Narrowband Filter Set for Deep Sky Imaging

That was cool!!

when I stacked the images in pixinsight it looked really weird, so I took out the Sii data and stacked it separately then added it with pixel math and it added another layer of detail that was cool.

Svbony SV240 2" NIR Multi Narrowband Filter Light Pollution Nebula Kit

It is a very interesting design!!

The SVBONY new SV240 filter is a very interesting design. If the Optolong L-eXtreme dual narrowband filter have a love child with a UHC filter and IR pass filter, you would get the SV240. Instead of 7nm bandgap of a typical dual band filter, it has 24nm for the OIII, 20nm for Ha, and 115nm in NIR. The wider bandgap is a good compromise to be able to capture what would normally be broadband DSO but still be able to filter out most of the light pollutions. Its a neat 3-in-1 able to image both broadband and narrowband.... Seem great for folks who are starting to get into filters but dont want to buy too many filters

Svbony SV240 2" NIR Multi Narrowband Filter Light Pollution Nebula Kit

Absolutely Love It!

This filter looks like IDAS GNB. If you use NIR sensitive camera like IMX585, it'll capture the NIR light. Cuiv tested IDAS GNB to photo M33 in Tokyo bortle 9 sky. But the SV240 version will be so much more affordable! Absolutely Love It!

Flat Field ED Binoculars SA205 8x42 | Svbony

Has phase coating , near focus limit is just 1.4 m

The SA205 binocular is phase coated, although not specified in the specs. Can be tested against a monitor with a polarizing filter or against "light" with 2 polarizing filter (on "front and back"). The near focus limit was measured here with 1.4 meters, remarkable indeed! regards

SVBONY SV48P 90mm f/5.5 Achromatic Refractor Telescope OTA for Imaging

Excellent Telescope

I'm getting back into astronomy after 46 years. I had a 6 inch reflector on an equatorial mount back then. I always wanted a telescope like the SVbony SV48p 90mm f/5.5. The quality is amazing and so far I have used it to observe the moon and sun. The optics are great. I also purchased a few Plossl eyepieces that made viewing very pleasing. This makes a great first time scope, travel scope or an addition to your larger scope. I'm looking forward to taking it to my first star party and solar observation day. I would highly recommend this OTA and SvBony Products.

Svbony SV229 Solar Filter ISO 12312 2 Metal Cap 103mm Sunspot Telescope

Great Solar Filter

The filter is very well constructed. I like the rubber tipped mounting screws with the secondary locking ring. This filter in combination with the solar finder is a perfect pair. The image quality is great. If you like solar observing or solar photography I would recommend this filter.

SVBONY Solar Finder Scope for Safe Sun Positioning and Astronomy

Easy to use Solar Finder

I was very pleased with how easy it was to use the solar finder. Mount it on your telescope, point and there the sun is in the eyepiece. I purchased this solar finder along with the solar filter, it makes a great pair. I would recommend buying the solar finder with the dovetail mount. This gives you an extra mount for other telescopes if needed and makes it easy to move the solar finder between multiple telescopes.

SVBONY SA401 APO 25-75x100 Spotting Scope for WMBD Birding

SA401 APO double ED

Merci Svbony.

SVBONY SV202 8x32 ED Binoculars with Bak4 Prism Waterproof for Birding

SV202 8x32 Impressive build and performance

Summary: An excellent binocular, well made, optically wonderful and easily compares to those from well established brands that are 3, even 4 times the £££. Note: I own range topping Swarovski EL 32's and CL 25's and have never found anything that comes close for optical quality. My son owns Japanese made Bushnell Elites. We are very keen birders/naturalists so hopefully know our stuff. Background: Helping friends and family to purchase binoculars recently, with my sons assistance, we spent a week researching various options and then purchased several pairs from Amazon as well as a day in his local WWT reserve/shop (where my son volunteers) testing a variety of budget to midrange units. I won't mention here the competition we tested, but they were all well recognised makes as well as a couple of the up and coming brands discussed on birding forums. The headline is that these SV202's exceeded expectations and all the others went back to Amazon. The most important requirement for any 'entry level' thing for the casual or budding user is that it's good enough. In other words, no matter what hobby we're discussing, if the equipment is unsatisfactory then it has the potential to either never be used or worse, put the new person off. With this in mind, I can say with confidence that all 3 pairs we purchased were beyond what I would regard as necessary for entry level binoculars.

Refractor Telescope for Astrophotography SV503 80 | Svbony

Great Value

The SVBony SV503ED 80mm refractor is a great value and offers fantastic optical performance. For the price of this instrument users will find excellent optical performance. Chromatic color aberation on the brightest stars are barely noticeable and easily handled in post processing. The OTA weight is easily accommodated on light weight mounts such as the Skywatcher AZ-GTi and similar mounts. This refractor is a bargain that should not be overlooked. Clear skies...

SVBONY SV208 8x50 Correct-Image Illuminated Finder Scope for Astronomy

Very Good Finder!

A finder is a tool to find objects, and to find them you should look through it in a correct way the way you see things, not upside down etc. With this finder except you see and find correct the objects with the red illuminated lines, you can detect easily the objects in a very dark skies. With my sort experience, turn on the Illumination in dark skies when you find first the object in the finder and then to bring it in the red cycle. I recommend it, because it has high quality of materials and very good functionality!

Svbony SV550 80mm Triplet APO F6 Refractor Telescope OTA for Deep Sky

Bargain triplet, don't forget the flattener for it

This is a bargain 80mm triplet meant for astrophotography. Produces excellent images with the right camera. If you want to make it faster and wider field of view for your camera, get the reducer that is made for the 80mm doublet, it works 100%, just like the dedicated flattener for the triplet. Highly recommended.
