Great beginner camera for dso and planetary.

I took an 2hrs exposure on ngc281 with Cls and uv/ir cut filter. No fr/ff used, no calibration frames and it looks already pretty good. Nice.

SVBONY SV183 685nm IR Pass Filter 1.25" for Planetary Astrophotography

IR Pass filter with a MAK90mm

I tried this filter out with my 90mm Maksutov on Saturn using a 2x Barlow. The difference in planetary imaging compared to the UV/IR cut filter was quite considerable. There was a cleaner image produced, with less atmospheric distortion, whilst retaining some colour information. This could be a more affordable option than the ADC, although using both would probably still be better. The moon was a bit more of a challenge as the red hue given off, was difficult to focus. I will persist and give the moon another go as the detail was clean otherwise.

My SV407 binoculars arrived earlier than expected. They look and feel like a quality instrument. Viewing conditions in the U.K. are poor at the moment but I will be taking them to the Mediterranean and hope to enjoy dark skies from the deck of a ship.

Is quite good price for this camera. Sensor is IMX585 with 92% QE, I use it for DSO photography especially when the objects are very small like M51, M74, M101 galexies.

I purchased the Hydraulic Gimbal Aluminum Travel Tripod to support my 90mm OTA and Mak Pro Spotting Scope. I am very pleased with the quality and sturdiness. The fluid motion and balance make for very low vibration viewing with smooth panning. The swivel feet help with setup on uneven ground. The compact size makes it perfect for traveling and comes with a nylon carry case. I would highly recommend this tripod and SvBony for quality products.

First Timer

Very pleased with purchase, also have the Svbony SV165 30mm guide scope. While I haven't used it for guiding yet (all very new to me), I am seriously considering buying both again for a dedicated AllSky camera using a Raspberry Pi. I'm new to SharpCap, but been able to get daytime live view images without any problems. Appreciate all the accessories that come along with the camera.

Just received my new SV605MC camera in France, quickly sent and perfectly packaged, and hopefully the clouds were not in my sky in the beginning of the night !!! I received the SV605MC camera a month ago and I did multiple nights testing, the camera performed flawlessly, connected to NINA without any issues, cooling was performing as expected and the picture quality was on top level, no banding whatsoever. I am a very happy customer and I am waiting for the future to capture with this camera great mono camera at very reasonable price. I posted my Helix nebula image in Svbony facebook page.

SVBONY SV227 2" SHO 5nm Narrowband Filter Set for Deep Sky Imaging

It’s was nice experience with SHO filters. I was curious how good it could perform against the published specs. I did my test and I got some good results compared to other people but not in comparison with specifications. Yet, I was really impressed by the performance and the quality I got when imaging. Here is some of my test results. OIII peak at 500.9 nm Max transmission = 83.7% FWHM = 6.3 nm Ha peak at 656.0 Max transmission = 85.0% FWHM = 6.4 nm SII peak at 672.3 Max transmission = 88.4% FWHM = 6.4 nm The price for SHO 2” on other companies is almost doubled of the 7 nm FWHM filters. I am glad of purchasing SHO and I hope they would one day reach there published specifications goal and the keep the good price.

One single shot zwo Asi 2600 mc pro and Svbony sv220 . To my understanding I think this filter is the best for what I paid . It makes a huge difference.
