SV550 122 APO Telescope Refractor - SV209 0.8x Field Flattener Set for Astronomical Photography

This is a review based on the reality of many of us who, in some way, strive and work hard to achieve our dreams. It's not a comparative review of products we can only find online and that are simply unaffordable due to their high costs, either due to the quality of their components or the premium price tag associated with being from one brand or another. The Sv550 122mm APO telescope arrived well packaged and without any damage even though it was reshipped from Miami to the Dutch Caribbean (being purchased on the manufacturer's website coming from China). Aesthetically, the device is a real gem, its size and design are impressive. Its weight is relatively adequate for mounts like the EQ 5 and EQ 6 and most likely others that I have not handled before. With an aperture of 122mm, it is 43% brighter than its cousin Sv503 102mm. Doing some tests, I can see that it has a flat image (with its flattener installed) and that the stars maintain their colors. This telescope is worth the money, and there's no doubt that its stacked and processed images will be as good and impressive as any other. As an amateur Astro photographer, I recommend this brand and especially its optical equipment, price, quality and support is very good. I have an observatory (Bonaire Cloudy Nights Observatory) installed at home and this telescope is without a doubt the best acquisition I could have made.
