Svbony SV154 2" 26mm SWA 70° Super Wide Angle Telescope Eyepiece

Great Eyepiece; comparable to ES. Svbony makes impressive eyepieces and telescopes, especially given their price point. The quality of this eyepiece is on par with or even slightly better than Apertura Pan and Explore Sci 82deg. While the afov is a bit smaller than those, the clarity and crispness of the view was every bit as good. Image is crisp and flat throughout 99% of the fov. It provides a slightly brighter image than than the ES, and equal to the AP. Contrast was equal to the AP, but just slightly less than the ES. Given its half or a third (on sale) of the cost of those, its a great value.

Svbony SV154 2" 26mm SWA 70° Super Wide Angle Telescope Eyepiece

People are too skeptical of this company When you read online astronomy forums, people make it seems like you have to spend $$$ on a televue or a baader to be able to see anything out of your telescope. They bash svbiny a lot as cheap garbage. I can confidently say, this is a great lens, and as a normal amateur astronomer with normal eyes living in a bortle 5-7 area, everything looks crisp, clean, and beautiful through this lens. I love the immersive wide field of view. This a fine lens! Dont let the snobs convince you to spend 3 times the price on a lens that is supposed to be better but offer barely any noticeable difference for the extra cost!

Svbony SV154 2" 26mm SWA 70° Super Wide Angle Telescope Eyepiece

Good value in a low-power, wide-field 2" eyepiece Wide field, sharp center. Slight fall-off in sharpness as you look away from the center, but at this price you can't expect near-perfection. If you have $350 or more to spend on a single eyepiece, get a Tele Vue Nagler. If you don't, this 2" eyepiece will give you the big-eyepiece "falling into space" experience for a lot less money.

SVBONY SV152 20mm SWA 70° Illuminated Crosshair Eyepiece 1.25 inch

Works Well and Solidly Built This eyepiece was just what I needed in order to more accurately align my Celestron telescope to the stars when starting an observing session. This is well designed for this purpose, and it gave me excellent results in my first use for this. The illuminated crosshairs nearly eliminate parallax and other visual accuracy issues which occur when centering a star in an eyepiece during alignment. The wide field of view is helpful when initially looking for the target star. The optics are bright and clear. The crosshair illumination is variable over a very wide range, and gets quite dim at the lower end, so that dimmer stars may be seen. They are also bright enough to use in daylight at the upper end of the range. The crosshairs are narrow and well defined, which helps with precision. Overall build quality is very good. I am very pleased with this purchase.

SVBONY SV152 20mm SWA 70° Illuminated Crosshair Eyepiece 1.25 inch

Nicely made and well packaged Nice optics. Nice brightness range for the reticle from barely visible to bright enough for use on the Moon. No instructions but everything is blindingly obvious except the mistake I made: the positive terminal on the batteries goes up not down.

Service SVBONY incomparable!

SVBONY SV152 20mm SWA 70° Illuminated Crosshair Eyepiece 1.25 inch

Great for aligning your go-to telescope I have an 8" SCT that I was having issues with the go-to getting some of the DSOs I wanted to view decently in the field of view. Since I'm doing optical alignments, it seemed like "guessing" where the middle on my 2" wide-angle EPs is wasn't working out that well. I ordered this EP and the next evening I went out for a viewing session, I used it for my three-point alignment. What a difference!! Any DSO, whether it was a galaxy or nebula, was beautifully centered in my view. The reticle light only needed to be barely turned on. Well worth the price for how much easier it has made it for me to get spot-on alignments with my scope.

SVBONY SV152 20mm SWA 70° Illuminated Crosshair Eyepiece 1.25 inch

Well made with clear optics. I ordered this eyepiece to turn a small, short tube 80mm telescope into a finder scope. It is well made ans has good clear optics. I like the adjustability of the illuminator and the fast a rubber plug is included if I want to use it with the illuminator removed. With the illuminator in, it can be dimmed down just right to find faint objects in the night sky.

Magnifique !
