SVBONY SV149 Canon DSLR Lens to 1.25" Eyepiece/Astro Camera Adapter

SVBONY SV149 Canon DSLR Lens to 1.25" Eyepiece/Astro Camera Adapter

SVBONY SV149 Canon DSLR Lens to 1.25" Eyepiece/Astro Camera Adapter

SV149 Adapter Nikon AF cameras lens to 1.25inch Eyepiece

SVBONY SV149 Canon DSLR Lens to 1.25" Eyepiece/Astro Camera Adapter

I think this will work just fine I didn't notice any of the looseness that other reviews noted. I did have to remove the nosepiece in order to mount my sv305c camera and obtain infinity focus. This is probably expected as there are threaded holes for the knurled screws.

SVBONY SV149 Canon DSLR Lens to 1.25" Eyepiece/Astro Camera Adapter

Pretty coolPretty cool First thing I noticed out of the box is the thumbs screws are heavy - they are plated brass..very nice. The eyepiece clamp is very nice ...brass ring and dual thumb screws. The bayonet interface is sufficient but I would prefer it were tighter...you can't hang anything heavier than an eyepiece ...it will flex too much and lose axial alignment. But with regular 1.25" eyepieces , it's fine. Overall I am thrilled. I have some very nice glass with color free flat focal planes that I can now use visually as well as photographically. Tried with my Canon L 500 FD plus FD to EF adapter and focus was achieved with 30mm Koenig, 32mm TV plossl , and 7mm Nagler seated fully in the barrel as is desired. Ditto with Pentax 645 A* 300 f4 plus 1.4x Pentax teleconverter ...worked perfectly and sharp as a tack. Note: This disassembles ...the bayonet piece has male M60x0.75 threads so in theory one could replace the 1.25" back with a 2" given the right adapter.

SVBONY SV149 Canon DSLR Lens to 1.25" Eyepiece/Astro Camera Adapter

Can be used with ZWO cameras Works great for my needs. The adapter is secure with the lens if you mount by aligning the mounting dots between the adapter and EF lens. It works great for connecting the EF lens with ASI585MC pro camera by providing the needed 44mm backfocus distance. The backfocus distance can be adjusted with the limiter ring allowing a +/- 5mm backfocus distance. There is also room to throw in a 2inch filter on the lens side - no way to secure it, but it will work.

Svbony SV146 Adjustable Table Top Tripod for Spotting Scope Camera

Cheap and works well Cheap but it works. Purchased to replace an old cheap unit that came with a Redfield spotting scope, and which had stripped out the threads on the horizontal adjustment in the mystery-metal head-unit. A word on that: I've had the Redfield for years, and that horizontal adjustment just "let go" (stripped the head-unit threads) while at a shooting event. On examination, the old tripod had a steel adjustment piece screwing into an aluminum (or whatever) head. The steel screws eroded the softer metal and it finally just stripped. So . . . foreseeing the same potential problem with the new unit, I applied helicolid grease, in hopes of extending the life of the adjustments.
