Nice flat widefield on APSC. No focusing issue at all. CA is pretty minimal, Nice built, it's got some weight to it. image taken with Canon R10 ISO800 1x180s

I purchased the SV555 and I've been using it now for 2 months and am very pleased with the results - The stars are perfect shapes and from Corner to corner, I am also using a SV605cc Camera. I'm very pleased with it.

I have got the sv555 last week, it has no focussing issues, and also improved the overall finish and reduced the weight by 90g.The new lens really does bring out the beauty of the stars!

The SV555 is probably the cheapest small telescope that can support round stars over a full frame sensor with a decent reach/focal length.

I have had it since January and enjoyed it a lot! I was about to get a redcat but... this one had slightly better reviews, a better look (IMO) and half the price. It is riding on my Juwei-17 mount and I am happy with the results. Now just need more time on the targets. Cheers.

This scope is actually a great design. One of the reviewers complained that it would not reach focus, I believe that reviewer does not understand that this is designed for Astro photography and will not achieve visual focus without extension added.

I think, for the money, the SV Bony SV555 lens does a good job for astro-imaging, and it offers the features that enable it to be used for traditional terrestrial photography too.
