Svbony SV260 5 Bandpass Filter Light Pollution Deep Sky Photography

Superb Quadband Filter with Clean Signal Separatio

The SVBONY SV260 quadband filter has exceeded my expectations for OSC astrophotography. Designed to isolate H-alpha, H-beta, OIII, and SII emission lines, it delivers exceptional contrast and clarity in broadband-polluted skies. I use it with my color CMOS camera, and the results are consistently clean, with minimal star bloating and excellent suppression of background gradients. What sets the SV260 apart is its well-defined transmission peaks and sharp cutoffs. The passbands are narrow enough to reject most light pollution while still capturing strong signal across all four emission lines. I've managed to extract convincing SHO-style color maps in post-processing using channel separation techniques, which isn’t typically achievable with many competing multi-band filters in this price range. The build quality is robust. Coatings are consistent, there's no noticeable internal reflection or ghosting, and the filter performs well even under high humidity conditions. Threading is clean and secure, with no issues fitting it into standard 2" filter holders or filter wheels. Bottom line: The SV260 offers an unbeatable price-to-performance ratio for anyone looking to get serious narrowband-like results from a one-shot color camera. It’s now my default filter for emission nebulae imaging.

ancioso por usarlo en el starparty, he podido probarlo en la ciudad pero no he tenido suerte con el clima por lo que no he podido hacer mi primera foto, cuando el clima aqui mejore subiere la foto, tiene un buen acabado en el material he optenido estrellas puntuales. este equipo en temporada de nebulosa sera una bomba :)

Great budget diagonal

I bought a 102 mm refractor telescope and needed to upgrade the very cheap diagonal that came with it. This one was recommended to me on forums (Cloudy Nights), and it was the most reasonably priced one. I bought it, and it works perfectly. No issues whatsoever. My only frustration is that I note that it is now at half the price that I originally bought it at. But the product itself works great... much crisper images than the crappy diagonal that came with my refractor.

SVBONY SV137 1.25" 2X FMC Barlow Lens with Brass Ring for Telescope

Nice Barlow 3X

I bought this Barlow 3X to observe planets & the moon from closer and without having to buy all these additional expensive eyepieces. The image is crisp through this good quality Barlow, though I'm pushing my telescope at the limit of it's magnification with 3X, but if you unscrew the bottom part of the Barlow and just use the bottom, you get 1.5X magnification. It's a neat little feature to be able to unscrew the bottom and have a different magnification power. Note that if your image isn't resolving nicely with this Barlow, the issue is likely that you are using too much magnification for your telescope or you have poor viewing conditions.

SVBONY 1.25" 66° Ultra Wide Eyepiece 6/9/15/20mm Fully Multi-Coated

Glad I bought them!

I wanted new eyepieces for planetary viewing and these did not disappoint. I bought the 6mm and 9mm gold line. With the 66 degree field of view you really can spend more time enjoying and less time adjusting! When used on DSO's, globular clusters and nebula really shine. After a few minutes learning where to keep my eye, kidney beaning was minimal and the image was clear and sharp through the whole FOV! Definitely look into these if you need high quality affordable eyepieces!

Svbony SV48P 102mm F6.5 Achromatic Refractor Telescope with 2.5" RAP

Great telescope!

The telescope is fantastic, with perhaps one of the best cost-benefits I've ever seen. The objective lens has a greenish coating, already corrected! I was surprised by the low chromatic aberration on Jupiter. Impressive image of the Moon! Materials used are top notch! Only the focuser has a roughness at normal speed, at reduced speed it slides very smoothly, it is very precise when focusing. I think this telescope will stay with me forever!

SV305C Pro Camera 2MP USB3.0 Guiding Camera

Great Cam with long exposure for a small price

I needed a cam with extrem weak light situation for an DYE raman spectrometer in a very close range (20cm). I could plug the camera into my PC (Windows 10) via USB and it got recognized by many astro apps instantly, especially SharpCap with no extra driver installation. In very dim light situations, the image is a bit noisy, but with SharpCap you can stack this noise away and will get an good picture. The cam gets a bit warm, but not hot and works very well with my C-Mount lenses, very precisely cut and sturdy aluminium case. The long exposure feature buys this product for me- I used it in all ranges up to 30secs and could catch even dimmest light signals- In combo with SharpCap this is an high recommendation for everybody hunting small light signals (micro or tele) in an very affordable range. It was also not very difficult to remove the IR filter, so I can use that IR range as well now.

Refractor Telescope for Astrophotography SV503 80 | Svbony

Outstanding build quality! Love it!

This is my first SVBony scope I have purchased and all I can say is I absolutely love it! Right now I am using primarily for visual observation but moving into Astro photography. The build quality and optic quality on this scope is outstanding. I have previous Celestron 100mm scope I purchased that doesn’t even come close to the detail this 80mm ED F7 scope provides. My previous 100mm scope would not show me any planet detail of Jupiter. With this scope which is even smaller I can see cloud structure, Great Red Spot, and color detail of Jupiter at incredible detail and quality. I am using 100% SVBony accessories and the red line optics with 2X barlow and SVBony upgraded diagonal. This is a professional quality telescope with practically zero chromatic aberration using the color correction filter. This has become my new go to scope and I couldn’t be happier with the SVBony AZ tripod and mount. What a difference this made in my nightly viewing experience!

SVBONY SV241 Astronomy DC+USB HUB Box for Astrophotography

Very Nice Power Unit with USB!

This solved my power problems and gave me extra ports. I love this little box. Just received and have had for about a week. As expected from SVBONY the build quality is great and they included extra power cables in the box which was a nice surprise. I used Velcro to mount my his box to my tripod and worked like a charm! Highly recommend if you need extra power and usb ports on your setup! Love it!

Excellent AZ mount with tripod! High quality!

I have really grown to appreciate the build quality and professional features of this tripod and mount. It is very quality and extremely sturdy. This mount and tripod does not feel cheap at all and is professional grade in my opinion. Has slow motion controls which is really nice and allows you to mount just about anything to it. I have my SV503 80mm F7 ED mounted to it and it works like a dream! I am planning to purchase a second one of these for my MAK as well. Great design!

SV106 60mm f/4 Guide Scope Multi-Use Finder Scope with Helical Focuser

It works with Quark

I purchased it to acquire full disc solar images with Daystar Quark Chromosphere and ZWO ASI432MM camera. I stopped down with a homemade mask to achieve f/7. I feel like there may be a neglectable tilt at the connection point because of the weight of Quark and camera but it is safe. The image quality is good. The solar disc is not full but larger than 95 percent. I will install a reducer in front of the camera soon and it will be full. I am happy.

I've been using 1.25 version clipped into a Canon DSLR (stock and later astro modified), and I have to say that the results wowed me. I did a few sessions with M42 Orion Nebula, Jellyfish Nebula, Rosette Nebula last winter/spring and the amount of details and how much of extra "clouds" you get, comparing to the DSLR on its own, or with CLS filter is huge. Light pollution does not exist for this filter. I'd highly recommend.

I used it for the high resolution even though the planets at this time of year are not very visible, I focused on the Moon and the Sun getting very good results, but what I really liked about this astronomical camera is the ability to record even the faint signal of nebulae.
