I really like it! Pin sharp optics right across the field of view. Great flat field, close focusing and excellent glare suppression. Lovely, easy view and it has a number of very endearing ergonomic features.

The SA 205 presents one of the most relaxed views I’ve witnessed in a flat field binocular. I encountered no blackouts or rolling ball effect while panning.

The right eye dioptre on the SA 205 is a real treat. Instead of just rotating smoothly, it has click stops that are very easy to adjust and keep the user’s preferred position firmly. I consider this nothing short of a brilliant piece of mechanical engineering. Kudos Svbony!

Excellent binoculars

I am very happy to use it for my ornithological observations. Compared to brand models of more than € they hold the comparison, and not much to be envied, weight dimensions taken in hand and rendering of the image. The economy won will allow me to invest in a long, high-end view.

Very impressive binoculars. I also own a pair of sv202 and these do match up nicely. Positive - Very sharp image. When the focus is just right it feels as good as the sv202 which has impressive sharpness. - The flat field is noticeable. On the sv202 the blurriness/distortion is at around 20% of the edge, and I'd say these stay sharp and in focus until maybe the last 8-10% of the edge. When viewing a small target it does not make much of a difference, but when scanning around with the binoculars or taking in views i feel it really does improve the experience, letting you take in more of the view at once, and helping on eye fatigue. neutral - The focus wheel is much more sensitive than the sv202, its especially noticeable on medium and long distance targets. While it does allow you to change focus very fast, and you don't feel like you have to spin and spin to change from a distant target to a close one, it also makes it harder to find that sweet spot where your target is in perfect focus since its such a small spot. Bad - The twist-up eye cups have a bit of wobble when moving past each setting. In use it does stay in place and works just fine though, but the feel isn't great. For a potential buyer i would say the main thing you have to take in to consideration and be ok is how sensitive the focus wheel is. All in all though i could not be happier with my purchase, the views in these are fantastic for the price point and i highly recommend them.
