All you could ask for in a Mak scope
All you could expect in a Mak telescope.The quality is evident,the paint finish on the tube is awesome.If you buy just the scope without a mount,be particular in paying a bit more to get a heavy duty stand that doesn't wobble,as stability is very important to an enjoyable viewing experience...don't buy one made of plastic,more like an aluminum one. The SV225 tripod from SVBONY looks great.
You may also want to invest in a Barlow lens to help in your selection of different magnifications,and maybe a 32mm eyepiece for lower power viewing.Images are sharp as a tack even with a 8mm eyepiece.As good as it gets and very light,you won't be disappointed.Better than any refracting telescope I ever owned....
GREAT planetary scope!
Needed a long focal length scope to complement my "short" scope. Short scope is great for nebulas, etc, but too wide for closeup planetary or lunar viewing/photography. This scope at 1500 mm FL, is a great scope for planetary viewing and is easy to carry around. Saturn & jupiter pics were shot with it the day (night!) it arrived! Recommended.

It works with all my 1.25 inch eyepieces and filters the optics are amazing.
It is going to make portable stargazing a pleasure when compared with my 10" goto dobsonian.

Great Telescope At A Good Price
SUPRISINGLY very light weight & GOOD QUALITY! When it first arrived, I expected it to be a piece of junk and I was a bit mad but decided to wait and give it a deserving chance.... we unboxed it and tried it out on Christmas night and I must say it's really pretty 😎 cool actually.
We even hooked our phone up to it and it takes amazing pictures of the moon. The pictures are on my friends phone and haven't tried it with mine or I would have posted them. I'm VERY impressed with the everything from the quality to the price, as well as how easy it is to use.I can't believe the quality of pics we got of the moon. Its crazy!

Good optics and superbly portable
It will also accept standard 1.25-inch eyepieces and as a "Planet Mate" it lives up to its name since the Maksutov-Cassegrain design with long focal length means you can achieve high enough magnifications for planetary viewing. Jupiter and Saturn appear as quite small discs through the 20mm eyepiece, though are still clearly identifiable. Jupiter's Gallilean moons can be seen easily as dots and the disc shows a hint of bands. Saturns rings can be seen. It very light and portable and I plan to use this while travelling. The telescope is easier to use on a standard photographic tripod or astronomical mount.
