I have numerous telescopes that I've acquired over about 50 years, but I wanted one that was a bit more portable and good for planetary viewing and photography. At 127mm with a focal length of 1500mm at f/15, this one hits the mark. Recent views and unprocessed photos of Saturn came out exceptionally well, especially considering my light-polluted location and fair seeing.What’s even more surprising is that this telescope also comes with a focal reducer. What’s even more surprising is that this telescope also comes with a focus reducer, which I plan to use to observe some brighter deep-sky objects, but I haven’t had a chance to test it yet.I highly recommend this scope!

Amazing scope!
As soon as I saw a review of this telescope on YouTube, I wanted it. The maksutov-cassegrain optical design allows for grater focal length (grater magnifications) in a smaller package. I own a couple more scopes (a 70mm refractor and a 130mm newtonian reflector), and yes, this is a 127mm aperture and this telescope really delivers. It performs flawlessly. It’s great for a grab-n-go telescope as well as for traveling.

Well made and good optically. Craters on the Moon, rings of Saturn, moons of Jupiter, double stars, currently visible comets, and even some deep sky objects can be seen.

Got a couple of shots last night with first light for the SVBony MK127 Rumac Maksutov. Used ay 1500mm focal length. Camera was ASI2600MC Air. Collimation seemed okay. Of interest is the Supernova in Galaxy 7331. Just to the bottom left of the Galactic core. Got the Bubble Nebula also. Slight issue with tracking for some reason.Maybe because image circle of the Mak is too small to illuminate the Guide sensor in the ASI2600 Air. I will try an external guide setup next time.
