Svbony SV220 1.25" H-Alpha OIII 7nm Dual-Band Nebula Filter Deep Sky

Wow!!! Wow!! What a great filter. This image is only a 10 minute capture. The filter is a great quality product. Was not expecting it to be as good as the Optolong l-enhance but it most certainly is. If not better.. If you want a duo narrowband filter, save yourself some money and buy this one. You will not be disappointed.

Svbony SV220 1.25" H-Alpha OIII 7nm Dual-Band Nebula Filter Deep Sky

Fit great in the dwarf 2 filter holder I wanted to get some enhanced imagery of deep space objects and this filter fit right into the filter holder for the dwarf 2. With this filter in place I can get great images of nebula at specific wavelengths.

Svbony SV220 1.25" H-Alpha OIII 7nm Dual-Band Nebula Filter Deep Sky

Absolutely remarkable! I have posted 4 images total, 2 whith the SVBONY 220 Dual band filter on and 2 whith the filter off. These where taken whith an IPhone 15 pro and a 102mm maksotov scope in a Bortle 7-8 sky these are single 30 second exposures mostly low on the horizon 20-43 degree above horizon whith intense light glow. It has done an excellent job of removing the light pollution and really showing the nebulas color as well as contrast! I simply can’t recommend this filter enough it’s pro quality for half the price of Optolong filter. The images above are in order the Eagle Nebula messier 16 and home to the pillars of creation the second image is the lagoon nebula messier 8

It is worth the moneyIt is worth the money This filter is for emission nebula. So I tried it on IC 405, the Flaming Star Nebula and boy did it deliver. My background was very easy to deal with and the colors were vibrant. I had tried earlier with a UHC and it just isn't the same. I know it costs a lot. I bought the 1.25 size because of the close placement to the camera sensor, I only needed a filter of .9 inches. I was right on the edge but my flats do not show any vignetting so I am happy. that is 107 60 sec subs processed in Siril.

Works Great on Celestron OriginWorks Great on Celestron Origin I am using this on a Celestron Origin Mark II the filter is much better at reducing Halos compared to the Origin nebula filter direct from Celestron and for very comparable price. It doss limit the light bands enough that it's difficult to polar align the origin with this filter in place so after polar alignment and initialization you can switch to this filter and while pointed at fairly bright stars get an auto focus . Very happy with the outcome and results from this filter . Highly recommended for the Celestron Origin

Great nebula filterGreat nebula filter Great filter at a good price! Good results with my stock/unmodified canon DSLR. Still able to focus on bright stars using a bahtinov mask. Suppresses over exposed and bloated stars, minimizing the need for star reduction. Blocks almost all moon-glow, allowing more emission nebulae to be imaged during the full moon. Of course it's not suitable for reflection nebula and galaxies, since it only passes Ha and OIII.

Best budget 6nm dual narrowband filter Excellent filter for astronomical one shot color cameras. With a 6nm band pass, it brings out so much more nebulosity than a luminosity or light-pollution filter. Highly recommended!

Just buy it.Just buy it. Just buy it. Got it today. The 7nm works at f2 on a C6 hyperstar. Pics in a bortle 5/6. The difference is night and day. The vail nebula is 40 minutes of integration, Andromeda is 1 hr, and the Christmas tree cluster is 2 hr. Processed real quick in siril.

I kick myself for not buying it earlier I got into astrophotography last year (2022), and have enjoyed the results I’ve been able to get so far in my light polluted back yard. Most of that has been from learning new processes and stacking a ton of pictures with short exposures so that pollution doesn’t wash out what I am imaging. I saw this as I learned and thought it was just some cheap knock off. Being real, I have some other SVBony equipment and it’s good, yet not great, so I just didn’t have a lot of expectation. This picture was when I finally went for it and spent an hour on the Eagle Nebula and it came out great!! It was an hour (6x900s images) and slight adjustments after stacking. It cut right through the LP and gave me what I’ve been seeing others post with the higher end filters. If you’re on the fence, stop debating and just get it.
