Svbony SV223 2" 90° Clicklock Dielectric Telescope Diagonal

Love it, noticeable contrast improvement over my prism diagonal I am still pretty much a newbie in this domain but here's my take: I used this to replace my William optics erect prism diagonal (1 1/4 inch) on my 70mm ED refractor and the picture now does seem better. Both for terrestrial and celestial observations I feel the contrast is better and I can notice a bit more detail. Also tried it on my bigger 130mm Zenith ED refractor and likewise really liked the improved clarity. Note that it's not like 'day and night' as the Williams Optics seemed pretty good already - but the picture did seem brighter and more contrasty. Svbony being a mirror diagonal swaps left and right where my williams prism shows the true upright image with correct orientation, but this is just the function of the design (mirror vs. prism) thus not holding this against the svbony. Happy camper!

Very nice. Highly recommended. Great build. The twist lock is very secure. This thing is pretty massive. Well built and great price compared to some other brands.

Svbony SV223 2" 90° Clicklock Dielectric Telescope Diagonal

Excellent Diagonal! I bought this diagonal for my Celestron 6se, and I'm really glad I did. It produces bright, extremely sharp images. As an added bonus, it solved the clearance issue when using an f/6.3 reducer/corrector with the 6se when pointing up towards the zenith. With the optical tube pushed forward as far as it can go on the dovetail, the Svbony sv223 clears the SE battery cover by 1mm or so... Just enough clearance! The only thing that takes a bit of getting used to is the counter-clockwise tightening. But it holds all 1.25" eyepieces securely with a short twist. Highly recommended!

Secure your expensive eyepieces. Allows you to securely attach a heavy eye piece to your telescope with a locking ring. It cannot fall out no matter the angle of viewing. The brass band and screw work ok for small light eye pieces. This is far better.

Svbony SV223 2" 90° Clicklock Dielectric Telescope Diagonal

High quality telescope diagonal This diagonal is very well made, it looks and feels solid. I bought it to use in a 102mm Skywatcher Mak and found its performance To be excellent, and believe it adds to the fine optics of the scope. I like the twist lock mechanism that holds the eyepiece in place too…noting That it rotates counter clockwise to lock in the eyepiece which may seem counterintuitive At first. Lastly, the diagonal was well packaged and protected relative to the precise component that it is! It’s a great value for the money spent, especially in a hobby that can exhibit seemingly very high prices.

Svbony SV222 1.25" 90° Erect Prism Diagonal AR Coating Metal Mount

Angle viewer The images that come through are very clear. I replaced the cheap plastic angle viewer that came with the scope and was very pleased. Jupiter went from being a bright ball to having clear definition and being able to see its moons and rings. Definitely worth the investment

Svbony SV222 1.25" 90° Erect Prism Diagonal AR Coating Metal Mount

Definitely An Upgrade SVBONY quite simply gives value for money. Period. I have this corrected image prism diagonal in both 45° and 90° variants. I tried the 45° first, for those times I want to use my 90mm Maksutov as a spotting scope. Loved it so much, I went ahead and added the 90°. Beautifully constructed and well finished. A quality item. Fits 1.25" focusers and accepts all my 1.25" eyepieces - no issues. Plug and play right out of the box. High light transmission and crisp, clear images. I really appreciate views of the moon through this corrected image diagonal. I was using a star diagonal, and the reversed image of the moon always distracts a bit. You Know? Like I said - really clean optically and definitely an upgrade over stock star diagonals that get thrown in with your telescope. As for SVBONY themselves, top notch. Every product I get from them seems worth more than the price paid. SVBONY products perform great and at a very competitive price. I've purchased diagonals, guide scopes, eyepieces and the SV225T tripod from them. Everything is built well, performs well and punches above its price tag. I now look at SVBONY first when looking for new astronomy gear. Clear Skies!

Quality at an Affordable Price When I needed a 90 degree diagonal for a new telescope, I didn't hesitate to purchase the SVBony. This is now the 3rd one I own. The quality is top of the line, but at a very attractive price. You don't have to pay a lot to get the best.
