MK105 Portable Telescope Set for Planets Moon Observation

MK105 Portable Telescope for Visual Observation of

Purchased this package as a planetary scope. I had issues with the red dot finder not aligning and ended up shimming the shoe on the telescope to work. Further investigation found the finder front lens flops loose side to side. I replaced the red dot finder in the package with a telrad finder which solved the problem. I also use a founder optics binoviewer and have to say the views of the moon are spectacular. I also have a williams optics binoviewer but prefer the founder optics design. I have pictures but don't know how to attach them. Only used this scope a few times but recommend for planetary astronomy and if you can afford it, a binoviewer.

SVBONY SV202 8x32 ED Binoculars with Bak4 Prism Waterproof for Birding

Great product and customer service

My shipment was delayed, but the customer service informed me at each step, with a friendly and professional manner. When I received the product, I was really surprised by the optical quality of those small 8x32 binoculars, even for night sky exploration ! I have a great 200x1500 telescope and the quality is worse ! Those binoculars allows me to see Jupiter satellites, Pleiades, and even Orion nebulosis. Product looks strong too I'll order more products from this company

SVBONY SV202 8x32 ED Binoculars with Bak4 Prism Waterproof for Birding

Great product and customer service

I was impressed 3 times : first, by the friendly and very professional customer service who was tracking my shipment despite of some issues. They informed me at each step ! second, when opening the box, the product looks strong and works smoothly, more than other products at this price third, the optical quality is huge, even for stars tracking ! WIth those small 8x32, you can see jupiter satellites, orion nebulosis, Pleiades .... I have a 200x1200 telescope, with a lower quality ! I fully recommend this product

Svbony MK105 Maksutov Cassegrain OTA 105mm Telescope 160mm Dovetail

Up Close

I recently purchase the Mk105 and have had opportunity to use it for observation of deep space objects, planets and the moon. Although the 1356 focal length is exceptional the lack of an auto focuser makes using the telescope a bit difficult. So I generally focus during the day, and try slight changes at night. The OTA appears well made but the coating is easily scratched so be careful. I added the SV179 Red Light guide scope. Later Zi attempted to mount a ASIAIR plus one the one side and the SV165 guide scope on the other. Balance was great. It I have attempted to attach a CMOS camera but failed to reach focus, so any further review on the issue will come later. Otherwise I am please with its performance, build quality and value.

SVBONY SV225 Alt-Azimuth Telescope Mount Adjustable for Visual Set

SV225 Alt AZ Mount

I purchased the SVBony 225 Alt-Az mount a couple months ago. I was pleased with the price, and the shipping from Asia was quicker than originally stated. The mount arrived in perfect condition. I have used it a few times since receiving it, and I have not been disappointed. With the exception of being unable to adjust the altitude scale to a useful position on the mount, there hasn't been an issue. At 100x magnification, my scope reaches stability in about 1 second. Whereas the original mount that came with the telescope took much longer to settle down. I would like to see SVBony offer a suitable sturdy tripod to complement the SV225.

Clean optics, sturdy tube housing, and smooth mech

Just look at how perfectly they complement each other—it’s absolutely stunning. I’m so eager to test the optical quality of the Sv555, but unfortunately, the sky in my area is cloudy right now.
