Pleased with this My husband was pleased with this. It did what it said and was better than the eyepieces that came with his telescope although for really big detail with tge planets you would need more powerful . As new telescope fans we found it great for viewing the planets. Not expensive compared to some others.

Worth the money I purchased this eye piece as an upgrade for my Orion Sky-scanner 100mm telescope. This eye piece takes some getting used to but is good quality for the price point. It works well by itself as well as with a 2x Barlow. A great addition to my kit. Photo taken with a 2x Barlow as well as this 6mm eyepiece a little while before sunset.

SVBONY 1.25" 66° Ultra Wide Eyepiece 6/9/15/20mm Fully Multi-Coated

Great beginner eyepiece set So I'm relatively new at this hobby but I've done a good amount of experimenting with eyepieces. To make a long story short, this eyepiece (6 mm) is better than a similar one I paid $100 for (orion). I would feel comfortable telling beginners to just get the whole set of these and call it a day. Don’t bother with a barlow, at best they can magnify the image for you without degrading the image quality but it will NEVER make it better. Unless you’re going to spend over $100 on a televue barlow, seriously don’t bother. If you buy the whole set of these, you won’t need one. Don't spend a ton of money on expensive eyepieces until you get a chance to look through these yourself. These ones have a nice wide view opposed to looking though a pinhole on the plossl eyepieces that most scopes come with. They also have good eye relief so you can really put you eye up to the lense without your eyelashes getting in the way and is especially important if you wear glasses. The picture I am attaching is through a 6 inch skywatcher telescope, and this very eyepiece (6 mm) with an iPhone. Enjoy, these are a fantastic value.

Best bang for the buck I purchased the set of eye pieces as an upgrade from the 2 eye pieces that came with my Celestron. The picture of the moon was taken using the 9mm and an iPhone 13 Pro Max on the zoom lens, and the stick was 25 yds away with the 20 mm eye piece. The image quality is great! and the eye relief is good as well. I use a moon filter when viewing the moon with my eyes, but took it off for the photo.

Best value for the beginning astronomerBest value for the beginning astronomer Straight up, I'm an svbony fanboy because they offer mostly great items at great prices to those that are into the hobby, but aren't INTO the hobby of astronomy. I have collected quite a bit of gear since starting the hobby, and when I compare the pricey stuff to the svbony items, I personally can not tell the difference before I lie to myself and pretend that I'm super knowledgeable. This diagonal and eyepiece reinforce my belief that unless you are really deep into it, svbony and this set specifically are great products for the casual user. Both items (and all my other svbony items like adapters and rings and filters) feel of good quality without going overboard. The views in this exact combo are excellent for the price, and definitely better than the kit eyepieces if you're really looking. My wife and kids that look through it for 10 seconds won't notice, and this would not be for them, but for a guy like myself that will observe a bit every month, this is my preferred price point. My favorite thing about this diagonal is the compression ring compared to the thumbscrew of my cheaper diagonals, or without the weight of my fancy teleview or GSO options at their higher price points, which helps on my lighter dobsonians. Frankly, both pieces have more style compared to traditional counterparts if that helps, and I'm glad to have these in my collection

good optic - all metal interior I use it on heliostat solar projector. It takes the heat. Just don't forget to remove the eye comfort ring.

Good very low power eyepiece - not for scopes faster than F/6! Great value! But beware, this focal length won't work well for fast scopes with large obscurations! Optical reality, not the fault of the eyepiece. For example - a 6" F4 Newtonian. The magnification will be 15X and the exit pupil diameter 10mm! A typical eye pupil is only 6mm, so you get the center obscuration black out. About the fastest F-number this works well with is F6 or F7.

High quality materials and build. Great buy! Impressive quality as to materials and build. Solid metal and multi-coated glass. Blackened internally to reduce stray light reflections. I have yet to view through it in the field, but am very confident that I will be very pleased, based on a thorough review by my highly trusted and very reliable YouTube reviewer, Jason of Small Optics. I purchased a second one for my neighbors, who are giving their young daughters a Celestron beginners' refractor telescope for Christmas 2023. A 40mm eyepiece is a great tool to be used with the stock eyepieces of any beginner scope or with more advanced scopes, as it provides a wider view of the sky. That wider view enables one to be well-oriented as to where to look and move the scope for bringing desired viewing targets into the center of the telescope's view. Then, one can simply lock the scope to that position, then replace the 40mm eyepiece with a 25mm, 10mm, etc. for greater magnification of the desired target, loosen locks of telescope, and off to viewing the target close up with the more powerful stock eyepiece. Alternatively, the 40mm can help provide beautiful sweeping vistas for those who enjoy simply scanning the night sky full of many more beautiful stars, planets, and clusters, etc. than the naked human eye can ever detect.

Svbony SV154 2" 26mm SWA 70° Super Wide Angle Telescope Eyepiece

Amazing Eyepiece for the price! So I picked up one of these eyepieces because I own the 3 eyepiece set of the 4mm, 10mm and the 23mm from SVBONY and I love it. If you are looking for a wider field of view of the night sky then this eyepiece is great for that. When I was observing the M24 Star Cloud and Omega Nebula in the Constellation of Sagittarius, this made it enjoyable to get most all of it in the field of view. The only thing I did not like about it was that it would not fit in my extension tube so I could use this lens for Astrophotography. If it had been a little shorter and narrower to fit, I could have used it using the projection method and got some amazing pictures of the M24 Star Cloud. However, if you are looking for a decent eyepiece on a budget then this eyepiece is right for you. The lens is heavy and nicely constructed with some pretty decent optics. It comes with a nice protection case tube or at least mine did, I would highly recommend this for anyone who is on a budget.t.

Seems like a nice eye piece. I need some help I thought with this eye piece I'd be able to to see the moon a lot closer but I can't any ideas what size eyepiece I really should use to get a closer look of the Moon I'm using a Galileo 1000mm by 60mm I think I bought it used off of Facebook marketplace and the girl that I got it from didn't know much about it really and it was missing the eye piece when I got it from her. I'm new to this and I could sure use some help thanks in advance.

Better than expected This 40mm lens is great! Was a little sketchy because of the price of the lense, but this lense turned out to be a great lense and exceeded my expectations. It comes with a nice hard plastic case and when viewing the moon was great! Looked at the orion nebula as well through this eyepiece and the image quality was very crisp! Really want to see how a 4mm and 6mm would do from this brand!
