Excellent smoothness:price ratio Ni-i-ice! The SVBONY SV225 Mini turned my very old, very unsmooth tripod into a precision platform for my 20-60x80 spotting scope. The mount plate of the SV225 isn't ideal for my scope's Arca Swiss foot but they do work together. AZ/EL adjustments are smooth and mine actually has 85° of elevation rather than the advertised 60°. Construction & finish seem top notch.

Cet Azimutale SV 225 dépasse largement d'autres AZ d'un tout autre niveau tarifaireCet Azimutale SV 225 dépasse largement d'autres AZ d'un tout autre niveau tarifaire Ayant beaucoup d'expérience avec les montures équatoriales et azimutales , cette SvBony SV225 me titillait depuis qqes temps. Les avis étaient trés bons. En effet cet azimutale est de trés grande qualité , par sa finition , sa stabilité sa conception. Je dispose de divers instruments et autres montures. Un tube ACF 203 Meade qui pèse déjà 6.5 kg sans accessoire auquel je rajoute chercheur diam 50 mm + renvoi coudé 50 + tête bino et couple d'oculaires ne lui pose aucun problème. Le tout monté sur un pied carbone trés léger , pour ma part le SIRUI AM2-Series AM-284 lequel n'a aucune flexion y compris par le maintient embase de la SV225 et la partie plate du trépied cité. Bien évidement sur des réfracteur jusqu'à 120 mm ça passe trés bien. Par exemple , parmi mes instruments , la 102ED F7 SvBony +chercheur 50mm + renvoi coudé + tête bino , la marge est encore énorme ! ( petit aparté sur cet 102 ED , en astrophoto ciel profond , un filtre minus violet Lumicon dont il y a un article équivalent que propose SvBony que je n'ai pas essayé , élimine totalement le sphérochromatisme que l'on voit sur qqes étoiles émettant vers le bleu ). Alors ceux qui parfois critiquent cet instrument doublet ED , ramenez à son prix ridiculement bas. J'ai en azimutale l'AZ4 SkyWatcher , qui est un roc ! et la SV225 n'a pas du tout à rougir de la comparaison et dans les avantages de la SvBony nous disposons des mouvements lents trés soyeux , un gros plus. L'AZ4 est par friction , trés agréable du reste. Mieux encore j'avais la porta II Vixen made in Japan , azimutale haut de gamme à mouvements lents. La stabilité est trés inférieure , je dis bien trés inférieure à la SvBony SV225 dotée d'un trépied carbone comme la Sirui citée qui ne pèse que 1.22 kg ! L'AZ4 et la Porta II sont livrées avec un trépied Alu type astro , alu trés léger pas trés valorisant mais c'est livré avec. Donc choix parfait surtout si vous disposez déjà d'un trépied à tête plate sans flexion. Cette SV225 se démontent trés facilement pour ceux désirant régler l'espacement vis sans fin roue dentée. Celà n'est évoqué nulle part ni par vidéo pour les vis cachées* L'axe portant la vis sans fin en laiton est excentré permettant de rapprocher le contact avec la roue dentée. Si à l'avenir il peut être nécessaire d'intervenir , il y a 2 petite vis au dessus mais aussi cachées 2 petites vis dessous* sous un petit couvercle plastique + ou - collé qu'il faudra aussi desserrer. Ce n'est qu'à partir de là que l'on pourra tourner le dit moyeu excentré pour mettre en meilleur contact vis sans fin/roue dentée si vous estimez que le jeu devient important. C'est le même système pour la hauteur. Partez du principe que vous n'aurez pas à intervenir. Quand vous allez engager le bloc bras , trés facile pour le montage quand vous recevez la monture , cet engagement se fait sur une pièce à pans et celà rentre trés facilement. J'ai mis du gaffeur autour et celà s'engage avec douceur , sans jeu et le serrage est absolument comme un roc. SvBony proposent quantité de matériels parfois novateur à des tarifs assez incroyable.

Sólida para telescopios pequeños y medianosNo Me ha parecido una montura bastante buena dentro de su gama. Se nota estable y bien construida, con un peso contenido que permite transportarla sin complicaciones. Los movimientos en altura y azimut son suaves, y los mandos lentos responden bien y son fáciles de coger el punto. La he usado con un refractor de tamaño medio y se comporta bien, aunque con tubos largos o algo pesados quizá haya que equilibrar bien el conjunto para evitar movimiento involuntario. El sistema de sujeción por cola de milano es cómodo y rápido, y la base ofrece buena sensación de firmeza. Quizás los pomos podrían ser un poco más robustos, y la punta estar protegida para no marcar la cola de milano del telescopio, pero por el precio que tiene cumple de sobra.

Schnelle Lieferung wie immer aber So ich hatte direkt bei Svbony dieses Stativ bestellt und da nach ca 2 Wochen keine Info kam wann ich das Stativ bekomme, bestellte ich es nochmal hier bei SVBONY.Das Teil war in 2 Tagen bei mir und nach weiteren 2 Tagen kam plötzlich auch das bestellte von Svbony direkt. Dann rief ich direkt bei Svbony an und wurde zuerst mit einer Roboterstimme verbunden bei der ich fast nichts verstanden habe. Nach Gespräch mit einem Herren (nett ? geht so ) sendetet ich das Stativ an Svbony zurück. Wieder 2 Wochen später kam endlich eine Info das der Kauf storniert wurde, aber mein Geld habe ih nach 2 Wochen (Paypal) immer noch nicht. Ich werde nie wieder was bei Svbony direkt bestellen. Svbony ist 25€ günstiger und liefert schnell !!. Das einzige ist die Garantie bei Svbony,denn ist die ist laut Svbony nur 30 Tage was ich nicht glaube, egal was soll bei einem Stativ kaputt gehen. Wieder was gelernt. Bei Svbony gab es noch nie Probleme.Danke. Die Leute machen einen super Job auch wenn man die schlechten Arbeits Bedingungen immer wieder hört.

Bardzo dobry wybór Bardzo dobrze wykonany produkt i spełnia moje wymagania. Bezproblemowo można śledzić obiekty przy dużych powiększeniach. Mikroruchy robią bardzo dużą różnicę. Wcześniej używałem AZ4 i wymiana na SV225 była bardzo dobrą decyzją.

Preis-/Leistungssieger AZ-Montierungen Kurz: sehr robust, präzise, genial! Die Montierung musste sich bei mir unter kritischen Augen beweisen. Ich nannte schon viele AZ_Montierungen mein Eigen und hatte irgendwie immer etwas auszusetzen. Als direkte Konkurrenten für diese Montierung kommen ES Twilight und Skywatcher AZ5 ins Spiel. Ich hatte beide und kann zu 100% sagen das die SVBONY Montierung der haushohe Sieger ist. Sie trägt deutlich mehr Last bei sehr kurzen Ausschwingzeiten, die Feinverstellung läuft präziser, die Rutschkupplung ist zwar schwergängiger, dafür aber ohne jegliches Rucken. Hohe Vergrößerungen kann man toll Nachführen. Das Design ist schlicht aber wertig. Wenn man bedenkt daß die konkurrierenden Montierung allesamt mindestens 100,- mehr kosten, ist die SVBONY ein wirklich lachhaftes Schnäppchen.

Precyzja W moim egzemplarzu wszystkie elementy są bardzo dobrze spasowane, nie ma żadnego luzu na ośmiokątnym łączeniu podstawy z ramieniem ani w mikroruchach. Zresztą montaż chodzi tak płynnie, że jeśli użytkownikowi nie trzęsą się ręce, może się spokojnie obyć bez mikroruchów :)

Impressive, Versatile, and Strong I like the fact that this mount is configurable. I adjusted the arm angle and other features with the included tools. The attached image shows the versatile mount paired with a Bogen 3221 to support a TV Ranger for a compact grab-and-go rig. Now I have both versions of this mount and they work fine with one small exception. Both mounts benefit from a dab of Loctite thread locker on the threads of the axis nuts. Otherwise, the mounts tend to get loose and require retightening. The SV225 Mini is even more portable than its larger sibling. This smaller version has the same robust construction as the regular SV225, but it has a shorter arm, lightened supports, better slow-motion controls, and no control handle. These slow-motion controls seem better because they are slip-on controls that lack those annoying thumb screws that always come loose. If these slip-on knobs start slipping off of the worm shafts, they have small grub screws that can lock them firmly in place.

SVBONY SV225 Alt-Azimuth Telescope Mount Adjustable for Visual Set

Performance for your dollar I am very impressed and happy with all the Svbony products I have purchased. This mount is no exception. I wish I would have bought it when it first came out. Having owned several manual altitude/azimuth mounts (i.e., ES, Universal, iOptron, Vixen Porta I & II, and mini Porta), this mount is ideal if you want a lightweight, portable mount that can handle up to 10 kg. Likes include quality versus price point-$160 +10% off—a great bargain. The mount head is easy to store and transport. The design is well-made, and the casting and finish are perfect. The mount head is painted off-white, and the paint is thick and smooth, and the slow-motion controls are buttery smooth with minimal backlash. The ability to lock both the altitude and azimuth axes is a plus. It will handle a 4-inch refractor (<f/7.5), 4-inch MAKs, and 5-inch SCTs if under 10 kg, I would limit it to no more than 7 kg. Dislikes: Excessive play in the azimuth bearing on my sample. The telescope wobbled when rotating in azimuth. It was partially mitigated by locking the azimuth and using the slow-motion controls. However, this is not acceptable. I removed the base plate and cinched up the 10 mm locknut on the azimuth, removing 95% of the play. From this experience, I learned that the mount is entirely serviceable. You must provide a tripod with a 3/8-16 treaded mount base. A weak tripod is the leading cause of instability. The lock and safety knobs on the altitude dove plate are poor. There is no need for two safety knobs when only one is needed. There is not enough room to optimally locate all three knobs. To make matters worse, the safety knobs on each end of the plate are taller than the large center lock knob, making it difficult to finger access the center knob. Also, the female threads on the dove plate are sloppy, causing the screws to wiggle when tightening. They do function, however. One last minor complaint is the altitude fiducial scale reads from 0 to 360 degrees, making it hard to set the mount in altitude (assuming you wish to locate objects using alt-azimuth angles). The altitude scale. should be measured from +\- 0 to 90 degrees. In summary, I look forward to spending more time with this mount. I highly recommend it.
