Great Telescope! Research the attachments you need

Really love the image quality and sharpness you get out of this! Absolutely incredible scope coming from a beginner that has only used an entry level Newtonian reflector. I am having to buy various attachments as I realize what I need, but I suppose that just comes with getting in to a new hobby. For attaching a canon camera, I need to use an svbony canon to 48mm adapter, along with the 48mm to 1.25” adapter that came with it, but if I want to buy the 0.8x field flattener, then i can use the canon to 48mm adapter *without* the 1.25” adapter. But the field flattener won’t work with the other 1.25” adapters I have. Anyhow, that has nothing to do with the scope itself! Construction is top notch. I definitely recommend this Refractor!

Svbony SV226 Filter Drawer 1.25" 2" Combination for Astrophotography

Excellent Quality and fast delivery on the filter

I was very surprised with the high quality of the filter drawer. It came with everything that I needed to add into my imaging train and I can use 1.25 or 2 inch filters. What really surprised me was how fast the delivery was coming from China. Normally I don't expect to see a package from China for a few weeks, but they delivered it in six days ! Well done Svbony ! It was the right item at the right price and shipping was super fast.... I'm a very happy customer !

SV105 Planetary Camera IMX307 for Beginners Astrophotography

Budget friendly starter planetary camera

Before I even start, I want to say to anyone that has never used a planetary camera before- it's not a point and shoot camera. Before you buy any camera, watch some YouTube videos and learn how they work before you buy one, send it back, and leave a bad review highlighting you're lack of understanding. For the price compared to other starter cameras, this is the best. Both of my photos posted were taken with this camera. The software is very user friendly. I don't think the two companies are really related but you'll get a copy of SharpCap that has limited features but for someone like myself doing this for the very first time, I found it met my needs by not over burdening me forcing me to have professional skills over night just to take a picture. It's given me a great platform to start from and as I learn my limitations, it's helping me before making an expensive purchase to get into deep space imaging.

SV211 135mm Telescope Handle Bar for SV550 80APO & SV503 80ED

Must have for you SV550

Given that the weight of the SV550 is 5kg (11 lbs), I can't imagine trying to mount the OTA repeatedly without the add of this handle. And of course bonus is you can mount your guidescope to the handle, if you so choose. It was a no-brainer to me. At 135mm long, I found I had to reposition the front OTA ring and this resulted in the dew shield not being able to retract all the way (with caps in place the dew shield retracted, the OTA is now approx. 353mm). All in all what I would consider an essential upgrade to your SV550.

Svbony SV220 2" H-Alpha OIII 7nm Telescope Filter for Nebula Photo

New Vistas

First light with the SV220 was the night before the full moon. I imaged the Trifid and Pelican Nebulae, and with PixInsight and Bill Blanshan's NarrowbandNormalization I was able to get an outstanding result on both. My Pelican HOO image is so striking that ZWO chose to feature it in the ASIAir Community App. A Gold Star on the very first try is pretty exciting! The weather refused to cooperate the night of the full moon, but the next night was clear (but windy). My first night's images were very noisy, so I increased the gain on my ASI533MC Pro from 100 to 200 and chose the Cygnus Wall as my target for the night. Once again the result was astonishing, with detail and depth that I've never seen before, ranging from the jet black of the dark nebula LDN 935 to the luminous red clouds of the Wall, with a beautiful teal mist in the expanse between. The SV220 is an outstanding value.

APO Refractor Telescope for Deep-Sky Photography SV550 122 | Svbony

The build quality is superb, the optics are bright and sharp, the focus mechanism is extremely solid and smooth. The entire assembly is much more solid that it appears to be in pictures. Definitely a higher end scope. Pretty thrilled with it so far. After getting some more clear nights boy this thing performs beyond expectations, I’m imaging with the ASI2600MM pro in mono with it and wow, pinpoint stars across the entire feild, no aberration noticeable at all. This scope is the deal of the century. If you’re on a budget and looking for a very high performance APO for astrophotography then it can’t be beat there’s nothing I’d complain about. I mounted it to a Losmandy rail to add room for power supplies and my imaging computer. I still haven’t had enough clear night to really push it to it’s limits but having taken some images under less than perfect conditions the results are impressive to say the least…

Works well with a 10" Dobsonian and Kowa SV binoc

The included remote is awesome, so you can get a nice sharp picture without shaking the telescope of binoculars. I tried using this with a binocular tripod adapter, and it worked well with that as well. I was anticipating some extra adjustments to keep the binocular tripod adapter from colliding with this smartphone adapter, but no adjustments were necessary.

Don't Hesitate!

I'm really impressed with all the products I've gotten from SVBONY. A lot of the gear in my astronomy setup comes from SVBONY, and I keep buying their stuff because of the great bang for the buck. This filter came in a cool box, housed in clear plastic, and protected with foam. The filter is made of high-quality materials and doesn't feel or look cheap.

SV133 Filters Wheel 1.25inch Multiple 5-Position

Works great!!

This filter wheel is great! First off its all metal (no plastic parts)! I can screw it right on to my T ring on my DSLR and it inserts into my telescope. The wheel comes with 2 caps for the front and back and can hold 5 filters . It also makes a nice solid "click" when it is rotated to the next filter. I added the arrows to help me at night to see which way I should turn it.

Nice little finder scope

Fit’s well on my 80mm SVBONG refractor. Focusing with a spin ring takes a little effort, but it gives a nice clear focus. The Red lock down ring holes the focus very well.

I bought this to help reduce night glow in our Bortle 7 city. It works well for cutting light pollution. High contrast images without compromising image quality. And is comparable to the supposed top-tier brands. Great SVBony quality for less! Super easy to use, clips directly in to camera body then attach your lens. Simple. Also helps protect camera internals a bit from dust while changing lenses.
