Svbony 0.5x Focal Reducer 1.25" for Telescope Photography Observing

Functionality and quality at a great price.

Perfect with the sv 305 camera and the sv 105 mk. It is helpful that the maksutov is a telescope of high corrected optical. Also works great with high magnification lenses like 5mm on the same sv 105 mk. The images from the camera were compared on the page (astronomy.tools/calculator) and give similar proportions using the ZWO mini 290 as a reference. Same sensor size. For price you can not expect more. For me it is perfect.

easy to set up and use with nina, great value/budget camera. clone of asi294mc pro. no issues using nina, just follow the instructions in the manual and it takes only a few moments to set up. all of the included accessories are seemingly good quality. great image quality for the price. cooler works perfectly and cools to -10 no problem.

Amazing value for the money for both beginners and

+ Very nicely made, appreciate the built-in rotator with the tightening screws. I don't see this on telescopes with much higher price tag, it's usually an add-on accessory. + Feels sturdy, although I did go through all the screws to make sure they are all tight, a few was a bit loose. + The Focuser is like butter, very nicely made, I like the bottom knurled-screw to loosen or tighten the focuser. + The dew shield is nice and tight, I had issues with other brands, that the dew shield slides back down too easily. This has just the right amount of tightness. +Lens is great! (See images) I don't see much chromatic aberration at all. Those who don't know what that is, that lens in the scopes bend the light to focus into your eyepiece and lesser quality lens tend to create this rainbow color halo around stars and shiny objects, because the lights in the spectrum don't exactly focus into a tight spot. This is usually corrected with another piece of lens (those scopes called apochromatic triplet telescopes) , but so is the price go up, way up. For this telescope with only a doublet lens, it's doing fantastic!

2inch UV IR Cut Filter | SVBONY

Great filter for taking astro photos

If you have a dedicated astrophotography camera then this filter is must. I would recommend this over any other light pollution broadband filters. If you live in light polluted skies then do not buy the expensive light pollution filters just use this with short exposures and you will see great results.

SVBONY SV550 80mm f/6 APO Triplet Refractor Telescope for Astrophoto

80mm Sv550 Triplet APO

I enjoy viewing, no astro-photography as of yet.. but I've seen very nice pics from this 80mm triplet online & read good reviews. I ordered the package mid-Feb w the OTA/tube-rings, soft case, 6x30mm finder/bracket & the 1.25" mirror diagonal w red anodized sides. The dew shield fits snug & moves free w no slop. Focuser is 10:1 ratio heavy duty, well built & smooth. The finder shoe/dovetail bracket may moved from one side to another 10 or 2 clock position.. also has sub-positions to fix it on either side w machined grooves on the housing. The paint, fit & finish are all superb, no flaws. The optics I tested on 1 good night- Jupiter, the Orion nebula & lastly the moon. I could detect no false color on any object at any time except a slight blue haze before it cooled down outside.. 44deg. Very sharp optics, I used multiple power EP's & a barlow in later. Diffraction rings looked sharp inside of focus, a bit fuzzy outside.. read this could be slight spherical aberration. The details on Jupiter were impressive.. the moons, belts & red-spot neat to see. Overall I'd recommend this little triplet to anyone looking for portability & quality. I mounted it on an AstroTech Voyager alt/az mount I bought years ago.. enjoyable to use in tandem. I'm testing a few other Svbony products soon- relatively newer business since 2018, 7th anniversary - I've been around the hobby for about 30yrs. JB

If you want to delve into Astro photography, this is a must have. It gives you a flat field for round stars across the frame without sacrificing focal length. If you want to use the scope for visual only, this is still a must have. It’s hard to describe the difference it makes to have the full image flat but it’s like the difference between looking at fish in an aquarium and on a 4K TV. The quality of what you’re seeing isn’t better, it’s just different on how it gets to your eyes. Great product!!

Outstanding Lens for what you pay for

Used this lens twice now at home and at a star party and I am very impressed with its performance. Using the moon for detail really shows what it can do. I saw craters that my other lens did not catch. Very good. It is also the perfect medium power for my 2000mm, focal length telescope. For my telescope that makes about 111 power. I do not like viewing at hi power unless the conditions are perfect and at this moment in the winter with all the air currents, medium power is perfect. The eyepiece comes in a nice heavy-duty box with the caps and a lens cloth. Yes, there are threads on the barrel for filters. Right now, it is SVBONY's best lens at $95.00 and it is worth every penny. I have seen through telescopes using Mead, Orion and other company lens and I fail to see any difference and I am saving a lot of money by buying the SVBONY products.

SVBONY Medium Dovetail Clamp with Brass Screw for Telescope Camera

Nice well made dovetail mounting block!

I tried using a ball mount on my telescope but found that the telescope gets loose on the 1/4-20 screw, even with the rubber pad on the mount! I bought this clamp which stays in place on the ball mount using only the 1/4-20 screw. The advantage of this is I can balance the telescope on this mount by sliding telescope rail in the mount. I now have very smooth motions on this tripod with little vibration, and the telescope stays where I put it! I don't have to constantly loosen and tighten a pan handle on the tripod. This clamp works very well and is strong.

SVBONY SV214 Pro 3-Axis Phone Adapter 28mm-64mm Digiscoping Mount

Easy alignment

This is one of the best I’ve used for phone astro photography. Comparable to the Celestron version. I think is may be easier to use and understand. The dials are lined up with each axis. The knurled knobs aren’t the biggest but they are adequate. The clamping mechanism holds the mount to the eyepiece quite solidly as well as simple spring mount for your phone. As with other mounts of this type it’s a bit heavy. You’ll definitely want to rebalance your mount when using this. Combined with your phone the weight is substantial. All in all I would definitely recommend this mount

Good for travel use

I bought the 10x42 model，I use this product for bird and naturewatching with my family. It's very light weight when it comes to carrying around on the trail -- I hike miles for the trails and it doesn't add too much to my load. I was also able to see falcons by the mountain range with these binoculars, once in a lifetime experience! We could see the birds doing some hunting ritual very clearly. I will also add this binocular is really durable. My kids tend to drop things and they get banged up, especially on hikes. Nothing broken and it works smoothly, even after being dropped over rocks and mud. These binoculars can withstand my toddler throwing it around, they can withstand anything.

SV406P 20-60X80 ED Spotting Scope for Camera Birding Photography

Sharp image, well worth the price.

Used on the super moon and just the slightest bit of false color at high magnification. Daytime use is a joy. Didn't notice any false color and images were very sharp matching much more expensive scopes like the Vanguard I used to have. Even at the highest magnification very useable

SV202 8x42ED Binocular Portable IPX7 Waterproof with Neck Strap

Good binocs for the money.

I have only used them for about 30 min in my back and front yards but they focus well and are pleasant to use. They do not seem cheap but in fact feel very solid and sturdy. They are small, inexpensive and give good visual at 8x magnification. I would buy again and I do recommend.

Flat Field ED Binoculars SA205 8x42 | Svbony

Rapport qualité prix exceptionnel !

Grand fan de jumelles depuis des années, j'ai acheté ce modèle par curiosité pour voir ce que donne un champ plat. Je possède déjà les SV202 8X32 dont je suis vraiment très satisfait au vu du prix où je les ai payés (83€) et de la qualité à tout point de vue. Il n'y a pas mieux sur le marché pour ce modèle. En ce qui concerne les SA205 8x42, nous sommes là sur une qualité exceptionnelle dans cette gamme de prix (achetées 151€). Elle valent largement une paire de deux à trois fois plus chère de grandes marques réputées, j'en suis quasiment certain! C'est net jusqu'à presque 90 % du champ, les aberrations chromatiques sont très bien corrigées, le contraste et le piqué sont très bons, la profondeur de champ est vraiment agréable, la luminosité et le rendu des couleurs sont excellentes, l'ergonomie est très bonne et les matériaux de construction sont très soignés. Les seuls deux petits défauts que je peux noter son le poids un peu lourd pour le format 8x42 (plus de 750g) et les oeilletons qui ont un mauvais crantage lors des réglages du relief d'oeil. Il y a 4 ou 5 positions mais qui ne sont pas précises. Mais cela n'est pas gênant si on les déplie totalement. En conclusion, c'est vraiment une paire de jumelles qui a été très bien construite et étudiée du point de vue technique, qualité et construction et qui vaut vraiment le coup à ce tarif.

I 'm quite happy with it. It's versatile, i.e. one can rapidly switch between filters, be it 2" or 1.25" ones, even in the dark. It closes tight due to the magnetic locking system, so no light leaks to see. I wished it would have been sold wih more than only two filter holders per unit, or to be able to buy them separately. Yet, as it is, excellent for the price!
