SV905C Guiding Camera - SV165 Guide Scope Combination

A pretty good little camera

I've been guiding with the SV905C for over a year now, and find it to be a pretty good little camera. It pairs well with the SV165 30mm.

SV106 Guide Scope - SV905C Camera Auto-Guiding System

Great quality at a great price!

Scope is well constructed, currently using as a finderscope, objects are much brighter than the default 30mm finderscope that my telescope came with. Note that the scope as straight thru for eyepiece only, I could not get it to focus with a star diagonal. The scope also gives me flexibility to use it as a guidescope in the future. The focusing system is precise but I found the dual focusing to be a bit tedious and focus locks do not work that well, I could still adjust the focus after tightening down the focusing lock screws. In all, a great scope, great value, good versatility.

This finder/guidescope is an excellent product for the price. The optics are very sharp, and the focuser is excellent. The rough-focus drawtube is very solid when the adjustment screw is tightened down, and the helical focuser allows extremely precise focusing. The drawtube allows enough backfocus to easily accomodate my ASI120 without any extension tubes. Buy with confidence, this product is an excellent value.

Good affordable guide scope

Great Budget Guiding scope, it works just fine for guiding at a reasonable price. I use this for guiding with a small camera and am very pleased. This is meant to be a budget scope for those of us who have shallow pockets. The quality is good the helical movement is smooth and for me it works great. I have seen this exact scope re-branded by some big name telescope company's that we all know and they are doubling the price for the exact save item. I would rather save some money that to have big name on my equipment. I have other items by SVBONY and I have more money because of them.

SVBONY SC311 2MP WIFI Digital Infrared Binoculars

Decent telescope camera

I love this camera. I tested it with my old dobsonian and was able to take video of Jupiter while I was manually tracking it with the finder scope. I loved that I didn’t have to worry much about looking at my phone, I just needed to follow the planet slowly. I did the same just taking pictures. In the end I separated the video frames and stacked the best frames to get a nice image. I have done this before with a DSLR and a barlow but this was much easier with this camera as everything saved on the camera memory and on my phone which is connected to my computer where I could grab the file and start working on it.

Cooled Color Astronomical Camera SV605CC | Svbony

I absolutely love this camera

My first camera had the known banding issue but SVBONY took care of it for me and got me the updated version. I'd been using a DSLR and had no idea what I was missing in the sky. I use this with Stellarmate on a Pi4 but could never get it working in Astroberry. I have stacks of 8 hours from my DSLR that don't come close to what I get from 1 hour with this camera. I know it's not a pro level camera but if you're on a budget and want great results, this is for you.

Cooled Color Astronomical Camera SV605CC | Svbony

Great Camera

I bought this SVBONY 605 camera because it was less expensive than competitive cameras with the same image sensor. This camera takes great images and works with the software that I use for automated astrophotography. I have used this camera weekly over the last several months and I am pleased with the performance and reliability.

it’s a great product though!

Easy install on windows. This is my second svbony camera, my first was the 105 which was awesome. This one is just as awesome + it’s higher resolution, so it’s..... awesomer? Don’t think about it, just buy it. The support team is fantastic about any questions you may have so this is really a low risk investment. Compare the cost to a dslr and a telescope adapter.

Good spotter scope - good magnification and bright

This Svbony SA412 spotting scope has a magnification range of 20 to 60 times and has an objective lens size of 80mm so it gives a nice, bright image and a decent level of magnification. It comes with a small, largely metal tripod which is very sturdy.

SA412 20-60X80 Spotting Scope with Wifi Camera Birding Photography

Good value for money

The scope's design is with a prism so that there is a bend, part of the way down the scope so that if the scope is targetting something that is at the same level as it, the user looks down at an angle into the eyepiece. This has the advantage that if you are using it to look at a paper target on a rifle range and are lying on your front, you don't have to crick your neck trying to look through a horizontal eyepiece. Additionally, if you mount it on a camera tripod and look up at astronomical objects such as the moon, open clusters or the Andromeda galaxy, you are not having to crick your neck looking through an eyepiece that is potentially pointing straight upwards.

My laser collimator was driving me crazy - would collimate with the laser, pull it out, and even if I put it back in with the same orientation, the laser would not show centered the second time. So I bought this collimator to use with the laser for fine tuning and verification and it works very well in my 10 inch dob.

SVBONY SV208 8x50 Correct-Image Illuminated Finder Scope for Astronomy

It was my solution to get ISS

Needed a correct image guide scope to manually track orbiting objects with a telescope that didn't have a 90 degree eyepiece. This is exactly what I was looking for, and the parallax adjustment feature that I hadn't noticed when I ordered it, makes it 10 times better for my needs. I wouldn't use it to auto guide, but it's perfect for chasing down the Space Station by hand if that's what you into.

SVBONY SV208 8x50 Correct-Image Illuminated Finder Scope for Astronomy

Got a nice view of Jupiter on the first day!

I was able to line up on Jupiter and 4 of its moons on the first evening out using this diagonal. I am using on a classy old Orion/Vixen VX80. Having the 90 degree diagonal in place instead of the 45 degree unit it came with makes it a lot easier on the back! And the view was just as spectacular as you can hope for. No distortions or difficulty at all from this part. Be sure that you are aware of the physics of a mirror diagonal, the image you see is upside down. That does not matter quite as much with stellar objects, but it does mean your motions of the scope feel weird as it moves in apparently the opposite direction.

Took a while to get this but worth the wait. Good value for the money. Detailed field of view and crisp image. I can use my 1.25 filters with it no issue and offers really good close up shots of the moon, planets and some deep sky with awesome detail. No complaints here.

APO Refractor Telescope for Deep-Sky Photography SV550 122 | Svbony

Very Nice Scope for the Price !

It is a rather large 122mm aperture ApoChromat (see definition on Wikipedia) with excellent color correction. On a few good nights I was able to get a few images with it, just to test it out. I used a Skywatcher HEQ5 mount (an AVX would work just as well) and a RisingCam IMX571 camera. Pros : Excellent optical quality for the price Very well-made focuser, ring mounts and 0.8x reducer Complete accessories (finder mount, guider mount etc) Cons : This thing has a good size and is not light !
