Color Planetary Camera SV705C | Svbony

Product Review

The camera is perfect to begin with DSO astrophotography, extreme sensitivity even at low exposure times and great colours. I will add a filter to this soon because it really deserves it. in addition the price is very low for such a piece of equipment Thank you Svbony!!!

ED Doublet Refractor Telescope for Astrophotography SV503 102 | Svbony

Product Review

Livraison RAS. Bref super content de cette lulu.

Astro Power Controller SV241 Pro | Svbony

Product Review

Up until now, I had made DIY power controllers where I could turn outlets on and off via a web interface which was OK. I decided to get myself an SV241 Pro for my observatory as I was having issues with my QHY294 MC Pro camera that simply would not connect without my disconnecting the USB lead and sometimes restarting the PC. The SV241 Pro changed all that. Being able to turn off the USB ports was a game-changer - camera connects first time, every time now! That, plus the over-current and reverse polarity protection gives me complete peace of mind. I loved it so much I bought a second unit for one of my other rigs.

APS-C Color Cooled Astronomy Camera | SC571CC

Product Review

Yes, i am willing to get that SVBony regardless of the features, i mean i can get more or slightly higher standards from other brands, but i don't need those features always, not if i know how to use it as it is, i have 3 571 cameras it doesn't mean all must be the same exactly, i won't use them all together exactly the same maybe, at the end i always can find a way to get around missing things, for example that USB2.0 hub is definitely not necessary for me if the setup is just a backup small or less items used, i won't use a filter wheel, and with a power box i definitely can live without camera hubs, but the main question will be, will SVBony pricing the camera less for real!!!

Zoom Eyepiece SV245 | Svbony

Product Review

I received the SV245 within a satisfactory time from Hong Kong to Australia (took a couple weeks). It was well packed, shipped without any issue, and was received with no damage to the item or the packaging. I have used the eye piece since receiving it and the views were clear. Just keep in mind the eyepiece is a tad beefy both in size and weight - but you're getting an eyepiece that is basically multiple eyepieces all in one, so that is the trade off, which I'm totally okay with. The thing I love most about the SV245 is that I can change the zoom without having to change eye pieces. Needing only a single eye piece is a blessing and not having to change focus much, if at all, when changing zoom is even better! I also love that it comes with an adaptor so it will fit in 2- or 1.25-inch focusers out of the box. I was able to get my first view of Jupiter through this eye piece on a 10" Dob in Bortle 8 and it looked amazing with the cloud bands/zones clearly visible. I look forward to using this eyepiece in future!

SV905C Guiding Camera - SV165 Guide Scope Combination

Product Review

I have used the camera and the scope on every outing since I bought them, and I am very happy with both. They are easy to install, easy to use, and compatible with NINA via PHD2 for guiding. It should be taken into account that focusing at night can be a bit complex, so I recommend doing it during the day by pointing at a distant object, and then making minimal adjustments at night.

Svbony SV220 1.25" H-Alpha OIII 7nm Dual-Band Nebula Filter Deep Sky

Product Review

I love this filter. It is the astrophotographer ‘s must have item. The only chance how to make pictures of the universe unesl light poluted sky and even full moon. This picture was taken in less than 2 hours with full moon. 1.25 nich size is sufficient for most of senzory and price is again unbeatable. I even like halo around bright stars which it produces.

SVBONY SV183 685nm IR Pass Filter 1.25" for Planetary Astrophotography

Product Review

I use it as atmospheric dispersion killer for my monoguide camera. It improved my guiding for about 30 percent. This is oné of the must have products if you guide mono. Just be carefull. With OAG and 55mm backfocus it is hard to focus guide camera. But for separaate guide scope or for my SV503 with built in flattnerer, it is not an issue.

SVBONY SV182 6x30 Right-Angle Correct-Image Finder Scope with Bracket

Product Review

I ordered this scope to improve the star finding ability in addition to a red dot scope. In my haste to order I did not realize my scope did not have a vixen finderscope shoe. After contacting support, a vixen style adapter type was recommended. I was able to adapt the bracket to fit my scope with a couple extra parts. It is very clear and concise and with the crosshairs, able to pinpoint areas quickly. Thanks for the quick response to my questions.

Maksutov-Cassegrain Telescope for Planetary Observation MK127 | Svbony

Product Review

I'd originally ordered via Amazon in the US to ship to NZ, but the order failed to process and Amazon did not keep me informed. SVBONY were awesome. I cancelled the order, placed it with them directly and the OTA shipped very fast - given the holiday season - and was well packaged and easy to set up. I've added a 2" diagonal for visual observation, and connected my ASI585MCPro for planetary work; cloudy skies and short (NZ summer!) nights have meant I haven't done a full imaging workout yet, but I've aiming at daytime targets 8km away I'm getting crisp, clean, sharp images that compare well to the 10" Dob given the aperture differences. Very happy customer.
