A very good product, easy to configure and use. Integration with NINA is seamless using the Ascom driver. The hub comes with all the necessary cables for a clean connection. Two minor points: it would have been helpful to include RCA to 12V 5.5-2.1 connectors for the heating elements. Also, a few rubber plugs for the unused ports would be useful, as there are many and not all of them are necessarily used. However, these details are minor and do not detract from the product's effectiveness. By choosing the right cables, you can achieve a well-wired and very neat setup, eliminating wires dangling everywhere. And always with Svbony's excellent value for money. 👍

Unsurprisingly, a very good filter holder that does its job. Very good manufacturing quality, the magnetic closure is effective, the drawer holds very well, even downwards. An affordable price and very well placed compared to other brands. Proof that you can have quality equipment at a reasonable price.

I have now actually been able to test the telescope! I am very happy with it! It is, as always, got that feeling of being built well. This is the telescope I should have always got in the first place. The stars look good, I have a slightly conical shape but I would pin this down to my camera or adapter rather than the telescope, probably sensor tilt or something along those lines. The filter drawer is a must but takes up a fair amount of the backfocus and the focus distance is really short, but at the end of the day it is a cheap telescope. I only got an hour on Orion and horsehead, and then rosette another hour, it’s fast optics got me quite a lot of data in that short time with narrowband. I am excited to get 10 or so hours on the Polaris IFN! It has brought the excitement back because it’s light, quick to setup and I can start imaging as soon as possible!

Svbony SV550 80mm Triplet APO F6 Refractor Telescope OTA for Deep Sky

I've been using this compact refractor for a couple of months or so now and love it. It takes quite aberration-free images across the whole field of view. Probably not quite as sharp as a Skywatcher Esprit but look at the price difference! And it's hard to notice unless you pixel-peep. I use it with the SV193 0.8x reducer and this produces quite sharp images, and speeds the scope up from F/6 to F/4. The build quality is very good, robust, solid, with a great dual-speed focuser that fits the ZWO EAF easily. My setup is easy to take outside and bring back in. I use it on an iOptron HEM27 mount along with the ZWO ASI533MC camera that pairs well with the 80mm scope. It feels like a compact modular smart-scope package when combined with these extra items. A couple of images attached: NGC2244 Rosette Nebula (7hr33mins exp) and IC2944 Running Chicken Nebula (4hrs exp).

SVBONY's official website doesn't include a T-ring adapter for the SV555 with the Canon EOS R (RF) mount. I purchased an M48x0.75mm T-ring adapter from a third-party supplier. With these accessories, I could securely and firmly connect my EOS RP camera to the telescope. However, I couldn't get it to focus. Later, I found some M48x0.75mm spacers, which did indeed help with focusing. For reference: When focusing at infinity, if using a m48x0.75mm EOS R adaptor to connect to Canon EOS RP model camera.

My package was received no damage!The scope was flawless upon checking with my artificial star. The optics are from what I can tell beyond measure. No astigmatism and no scratches. Collimation was perfect. I didn’t have to tweak it. No flaws on the scope either! This is absolutely stellar. I finally have a Maksutov that came out of the factory perfect! Whoo Hoo!

I'd originally ordered via Amazon in the US to ship to NZ, but the order failed to process and Amazon did not keep me informed. SVBONY were awesome. I cancelled the order, placed it with them directly and the OTA shipped very fast - given the holiday season - and was well packaged and easy to set up. I've added a 2" diagonal for visual observation, and connected my ASI585MCPro for planetary work; cloudy skies and short (NZ summer!) nights have meant I haven't done a full imaging workout yet, but I've aiming at daytime targets 8km away I'm getting crisp, clean, sharp images that compare well to the 10" Dob given the aperture differences. Very happy customer.

Arrived packed very good with no problems optically and all of the pieces shown. The only thing everyone should know is a duty tax needs to be paid which was around 26 dollars before the shipping company could deliver the scope. The pictures do show some problems that flocking I hope will clear up as light reflections do show up in images. Most can be taken out with image processes. Nice scope for the price.

The instrument has exceeded my expectations, as it delivers truly satisfying performance, especially considering its price. Chromatic aberration is well corrected, definition and contrast are very good, and the field (certainly a little narrow, but not much different from that of some more well-known competitors) appears flat and easy to read from edge to edge. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

It's everything I hoped it would be ! The stellar images is clean to the edge, but there's on caveat . The 6mm spacer combined with the ASI2600MC camera 12.5mm leaves you 0.5mm short on the 24mm required back focus, I put a 0.5mm shim in the image train and the stars are as clean as I could ever expect. I you are wanting to use Narrow Band filters they attach to the front and they don't need to be special ones for short f/ratio scopes because the light is entering at a straight angle at the front... I used the SV220 7nm filter with no issues.

Svbony SV226 M42 Filter Drawer Quick Switch 1.25" 2" Astrophotography

Love this magnetic filter drawer works great! I have used the Svbony SV226 filter magnetic drawer a few times and yes I really love this filter system sold by Svbony. Very well designed and well thought out. The filter itself is very well built, very well sealed from stray light and can be adjusted. The ability to just switch out your filters on the fly while imaging is really really nice. I also like that it is completely sealed - no dirt, dust or moisture getting into the telescope or camera sensor whatsoever unlike traditional filter wheels. I do plan on ordering a extra set of 2 inch filter drawers (and the 1.25 adapters) for this drawer from Svbony so I can use more fitlers with it. There is a nice plastic storage bin to put the whole filter system in while not in use and keeps all the dust out but I just leave it attached to my Svbony SV705C camera since it is sealed so well not needed to put away. I have used it on my Celestron C6 to image with it switching out filters on the fly. I have also used it on my Celestron 127slt with my SC715C planetary camera using the included m48 to m42 adapter to attach it and it also works fantastic. Highly highly recommended product from Svbony!
