I bought this to help reduce night glow in our Bortle 7 city. It works well for cutting light pollution. High contrast images without compromising image quality. And is comparable to the supposed top-tier brands. Great SVBony quality for less! Super easy to use, clips directly in to camera body then attach your lens. Simple. Also helps protect camera internals a bit from dust while changing lenses.

This one is a nice filter, I have used it to do deepsky astrophotography imaging the Orion nebula with a DSLR and I got good results with it in bortle 8 skies.

I was skeptical of this filter considering the price, but was very pleasantly surprised. It really does make a considerable difference, the sky becomes much darker when using it, allowing for better contrast. With it, the Ring nebula was way more pronounced in my telescope, when before it was just a faint smudge.
