SV550 APO Triplet Refractor 80 F6 OTA For Visual & Deep Sky Astrophotography
The SV550 APO Triplet refractor with 80mm aperture and fast f/6 focal ratio, it is definitely a great travel telescope for observation and astrophotography.
Apochromatic 3-element Objective
The triplet apochromatic optics structure (1 piece of S-FPL51 low dispersion ED glass + 2 pieces of correction glass) is adopted to significantly improve the image quality of the captured image (15.8% increase by the spectrometer calculation). Significantly reduces edge dispersion resulting in blue fringing problems.
2.5 inches 1:10 Dual-speed Focuser
The 2.5-inch focusing base can effectively reduce the vignetting problem when connecting to a full-frame camera, and the FPL51 APO can improve the quality of the captured images.
The Elimination Of Stray Light
4 extinction light bars are used inside the lens barrel, which can eliminate all stray light interference on the inner wall of the lens barrel.
Focal Lenght of 480mm
To remove the 2-inch adapter from the focuser, you will need to loosen the three small screws on the side of the adapter (as indicated in the red circle in the image). Please use an appropriate Allen wrench to gently loosen these screws; there is no need to completely remove them down. Once the three screws are sufficiently loosened, you can turn the adapter counterclockwise to detach it, allowing you to proceed with installing the SV209 flat field lens.
Additionally, if you experience any loosening of the focuser adapter during use, you can also adjust the tightness of the small screws to secure it properly.
