Glad I did — this scope punches well above its price point and delivers real versatility for nature observation and casual astronomy. What I Liked: - Expandable Lens Cap: Doubles as a sunshade or dew shield — a thoughtful touch I didn’t expect. - Zoom Eyepiece (20x–60x): Smooth operation with solid clarity across the range. - Focal Length: 430mm (not listed in the manual or description, but worth knowing). - 80mm Objective Lens: Fully coated for brightness and contrast. - Correct-Image Prism: Delivers an upright, properly oriented view. - Adjustable Eyecup: Comfortable for both eyeglass wearers and non-glasses users. - Eyepiece Compatibility: My 1.25" barrel eyepieces work perfectly — a huge plus for flexibility. - Dual Focus System: Coarse and fine adjustments make dialing in sharpness easy. - Included Accessories: Comes with a soft case, basic tripod, lens caps, cloth, and manual. Minor Drawbacks: - Zoom Isn’t Parfocal: You’ll need to refocus when changing magnification — expected at this price, but worth noting. - Tripod Quality: Functional but basic. I used my own higher-end tripod for better stability. - Bag Design: Doesn’t accommodate the scope while mounted — not a dealbreaker, just a design quirk. Final Thoughts: In my opinion for my use — birding, casual stargazing, and general outdoor spotting — this scope is a 5-star performer. The optical quality and build are impressive, especially considering the price. Accessories are serviceable, but the scope itself is the real win. If you’re looking for a versatile, budget-friendly spotting scope that doesn’t skimp on core features, the SV406 is worth a serious look.

Excellent Spotting Scope for Its Price This spotting scope quality is excellent. Pair it with the SC001 for wireless viewing, although you do loose some clarity and magnification from the primary optics.

Longue-vue de qualité pour observations nature et ciel étoilé 🟦 Cet avis impartial reflète mon expérience personnelle sur un produit reçu via le Club des Testeurs. Bien que je tente d'être le plus rigoureux dans mes essais et mes avis, des erreurs ou des différences peuvent apparaître. En tant que passionné d'observation, j'ai adopté cette longue-vue pour mes sorties en pleine nature, que ce soit en plaine ou en montagne. Dès la première utilisation, j'ai été impressionné par la qualité optique. L'objectif de 80 mm offre une superbe luminosité, idéal pour l'observation solaire (avec filtre bien sûr), nocturne et diurne. J'ai pu admirer les détails des satellites et des étoiles, mais aussi suivre un oiseau dans les feuillages grâce au zoom de 20x à 60x. La longue-vue est légère et facile à transporter. Le sac de transport à bandoulière fourni est bien pratique, tout comme les caches pour l'objectif et l'oculaire. Le trépied inclus est utile, même s'il présente une légère flexibilité qui peut gêner lors d'un ajustement précis pour le suivi d'un objet céleste ou d'un animal. Pour ce qui est de la mise au point, elle est simple et rapide, ce qui est un vrai atout pour les débutants comme moi. Le nettoyage se fait facilement grâce au chiffon inclus, et même si je n'ai pas encore testé son étanchéité, le fait qu'elle soit IPX7 est rassurant. Cette longue-vue est un excellent compagnon pour mes balades, me permettant de découvrir la nature sous un nouvel angle. Malgré quelques petites améliorations possibles, notamment sur le trépied, elle reste un outil polyvalent et de qualité. Je la recommande sans hésiter à tous ceux qui cherchent à observer la nature ou le ciel de manière nomade.

Telescopio de calidad con gran nitidez y luminosidad. 🟢 Buscaba un telescopio para mis excursiones y viajes y conseguí este de Svony y la verdad que estoy bastante satisfecho por su calidad. ✅ Tiene una lente de 80 mm que ofrece una nitidez y luminosidad excelente, tanto de día como de noche. ✅Las aves, que son mi gran pasión, las observo con gran detalle, tiene un zoom de 20x a 60x que incluso aumentando al máximo no pierde calidad. ✅Me sorprendió su peso, ya que al ser de gran tamaño es muy ligero y puedo llevarlo cómodamente. ✅ Incluye funda, paño de limpieza y un trípode. ✅ El montaje es facilísimo,no requiere ninguna experiencia. 🔵 En general, es un telescopio terrestre robusto ,de calidad, y ligero, que me permite visualizar la naturaleza con todo detalle. Estoy disfrutando mucho con él. Lo recomiendo

Svbony SV406 20-60x80mm Très bon produit, mais malheureusement la bague de verrouillage se bloque, empêchant le retrait de l'oculaire. Sur la même marque de produit, mais différents modèles, j'ai renvoyé 3 fois le produit pour le même problème. Mais je pense reprendre le modèle SV406 20-60x80 car je l'ai trouvé exceptionnel. Peut-être un défaut, donc je vais retenter ma chance.

Un gran pequeño telescopio Es un telescopio hecho con cariño. Con muy buena calidad de resolución. Muy recomendable para fotografía de naturaleza. Pude ver en la noche a Júpiter y sus lunas y a Saturno. Pequeñitos pero se ven a 60x. Es en este sentido, la astrofotografía, que finalmente me decanté por un modelo superior. Pero para uso terrestre y naturaleza, éste es genial.

SV405CC Cooled Color OSC Camera for Deep Space Astrophotography IMX294

Works with INDI and NINAWorks with INDI and NINA This is a good camera, I tested this camera working with NINA with the latest recommended SDK 1.11.4 and the problem with the cooling and last image frame showing has now been resolved. Also this issue is articled in CloudyNights. My main imaging is captured using the INDI platform depending on my setup. No banding was apparent on the images, however I do recommend a good power source and a quality 12V DC Cigar-lighter plug cable rated to 5 amp. I was quite happy to see the cooling being maintained at -10c last night. The camera is quite similar to a couple of other well known brands but without the USB Hub, does that bother me? Not really, I have enough ports on my mini pc for this. The build quality is rock solid and for the price, your still getting a lot of camera for your buck. The image shown was taken with the same camera and a SVBONY SV220 Dual Band Filter. The camera comes with a main power block and all the adaptors you would find with the other brands. Note to SVBONY: Would you be able to supply a 12V DC Cigar-lighter plug rated to 5 amp cable with the camera alongside the power block? A would make a lot of difference.

Calidad precio, excelente buenaCalidad precio, excelente buena Con el precio que tiene es buena CMOS, lo único es que hay que trabajar el tema de saber procesar las fotos realizadas, sobretodo usando filtros y desde casco urbano como hago yo. Muy importante! Al principio me costó cogerla el aire en el sofwar del manejo. Lo mejor es usar N.I.N.A. pero en formato ASCOM. No usar en formato svbony. Solo ASCOM. Os ahorraréis dolores de cabeza. Yo suelo hacer las fotos con gain 130 y -5° suelo hacer exposiciones de 5 o 10 minutos, depende el objeto. Con eso es suficiente.

SV405CC Cooled Color OSC Camera for Deep Space Astrophotography IMX294

Gute Kamera zu günstigen PreisGute Kamera zu günstigen Preis Aufgrund der Wetterlage konnte ich sie bisher nur eingeschränkt in Betrieb nehmen. Die beiden Deepsky Aufnahmen M42 und M81 wurden jeweils bei starkem Mondlicht (90%) und einer relativ kurzen Belichtung von ca.45min (15s je Einzelbild aufgenommen) mit NINA aufgenommen. Flammennebel und Pferdekopf ca.60min bei etwa besseren Bedingungen. Sehr empfindliche Kamera. Jupiter wurde mit 3fach Barlow und 2min mit Sharpcap aufgenommen. Bildrate ging aber trotz ROI von 1920x1080 auf unter 5fps. Kann aber auch am Laptop liegen bin nicht sicher ob der USB3 hat. Folgendes ist mir negativ aufgefallen: Einmal Verbindungsproblem in NINA und mit Sharpcap mehrfach Programm Absturz nach ROI Änderungen. Nach Download der aktuellsten Version unter Testbedingungen wetterbedingt innen nicht mehr. Ungekühlt sehr starkes Pixel Rauschen, damit auch kein Autofocus möglich, nach Kühlung aber problemlos. Deshalb erst mal 4* trotz unschlagbar günstigem Preis. Update: Ich habe seither keine Abstürze mehr gehabt, deshalb gebe ich 5*

Buena Camara a excelente precio es una camara con buenas prestaciones, bien construida, he visto varias revisiones en internet y la verdad es que da el mismo rendimiento que una ZWO, no tiene nada que envidiarle. muy buen trabajo de Svbony. trabaja bien con Sharpcap y NINA, unicamente se debe de descargar los drivers actualizados de la pagina de Svbony, esperando utilizarla para cielo profundo en este verano.

Stellar pixels for the price. The deep space Astrophotography camera has really turned my craft around. So much better than using a dslr on a dedicated rig. The unit that I have has very little amp glow and any other vignetting or artifacts can be removed through calibration frames. It cools quickly I produces some very impressive images. I would highly recommend this or the square sized sensor of the SV605. Plays nicely with Nina as well. I don't think you could get a better cooled sensor camera than this one at this price. It's a very good value for your money.

Very well builtVery well built Just started imaging with this dedicated astro camera hence only the 4 on image quality. I probably need to get more familiar with it and image processing. It cools very well and cooling power remains steady. I have no complaints about this at all and it is more than reasonably priced.

Dedicated astronomy camera works flawlesslyDedicated astronomy camera works flawlessly Great Astro cam! Been running this on my Svbony 102 and it has been working great. No issues connecting and cooler works great. Make sure you give enough time for sensor to cool down before imaging. Been using both NINA and astroberry without issues.

good valuegood value easy to set up and use with nina, great value/budget camera. clone of asi294mc pro. no issues using nina, just follow the instructions in the manual and it takes only a few moments to set up. all of the included accessories are seemingly good quality. great image quality for the price. cooler works perfectly and cools to -10 no problem. photo attached was taken in bortle 7.

Great Camera This camera is with an IMX294 chip. Compared to the SV305 which has the IMX290 chip, this one has a significantly larger FOV. In my Skywatcher 200P dobsonian, the FOV is close to an ES82-11mm eyepiece. I have only played around for a few days, and briefly tested the cooling function. Everything seems to work very well. I used the astrodmx-capture on my macbook.
